设计说明 首先,通过图片,复习学过的相关交通工具的名词。通过图片和句子,教授新单词和短语,为课文学习扫清障碍。学生先快速阅读课文,回答Let’s Do It! What would they think about the types of transportation we have today? Would they be surprised? Now think about future transportation. What types of transportation will be there 100 years from now? Describe one type of transportation from the future. Don’t forget to think and be creative! Use your imagination and have fun! 2.Students will work together to come up with a type of transportation from the future. They should be able to explain how it works and answer why they think their new type of transportation will be useful in the future. 3.Have each group present their transportation from the future in front of the class. Step 6 Language points 1. He stayed up late last night. 别叫醒他。昨天晚上他熬夜了。 He stayed up late to prepare for the exam. 他熬夜准备考试了。 (2)invention 名词 , 发明;发明物 invent 动词 ,发明;创造 inventor 名词, 发明家 The inventor invented two new things last year. Both are great inventions. 去年,那个发明家发明了两项新东西。两项都是伟大的发明。 3. Now Danny is standing at the front of the classroom.现在,丹尼站到了教室前面。 at the front of表示 “在……前部”,at可用in代替,指内部的前面。 The driver is sitting at /in the front of the bus.司机坐在公交车的前部。 in front of表示 “在……前部”,指外部的前面。 The boy is in front of the bus.这个男孩在公交车的前面。 4. Then you turn it on and jump into the air! 然后你把它打开,跳到空中! turn on 表示 “打开,接通(电流、煤气、水等)”,反义短语turn off,表示“关掉,截断(电流、煤气、水等)”。 Please turn on the TV. It’s time for the news. 请打开电视。新闻时间到了。 Would you please turn off the radio? 请你关上收音机好吗? 注意:turn on/off是由动词+副词构成的短语,代词作宾语时要放在两词之间;名词作宾语时既可放在中间,也可放在后面。 5. Probably not, but he had fun,and he used his imagination! 也许不是,但是他得到了乐趣,而且他运用了自己的想像力! probably adv. 大概;或许;很可能 一般位于句首或者实义动词之前。 Probably next year I will look for a new job.也许明年我将寻找一份新工作。 【注意】probably 与否定词连用时,习惯上是用于否定词之前。 I probably won’t finish the work on time.可能我不能按时完成工作。 【拓展】maybe和 perhaps也表示“可能,也许”,但probably比maybe和 perhaps肯定意味强烈,表示可能性最大。 Step 7 Summary Sum up what we’ve learnt in this period with the class. 1.New words: presentation,invention, backpack, cardboard, fuel, oil, probably,imagination 2.
