Module 1　How to learn EnglishUnit 1　Let’s try to speak English as much as possible.设计说明学生课前读词，通过自由讨论引入新课；通过对话练习，掌握提建议的方法；利用听读练习，让学生加强对课文的理解，培养学生获取细节信息的能力；设置对短文选词填空的练习，让学生进一步理解和掌握课文关键信息；设置结对练习，让学生达到学以致用的目的。教学目标通过本单元的教学，让学生达成以下目标：1.知识目标掌握本单元新单词及短语：pair，correct，spelling，word，practise，match，meaning，complete，sentence，dictionary，grammar，letter，look up，mistake，make a mistake，understand，advice，should，possible，write down，notebook，forget，pronounce，aloud，radio，pronunciation，key，main，excellent，agree，agree with sb.。掌握重点句子：We/ You should… Let’s try to… Why not/Why don’t you…?It’s a good idea to…2.能力目标(1)能听懂关于探讨英语学习方法的对话。(2)能讨论在英语学习中遇到的问题并给出建议。3.情感目标通过听说训练，在学习如何提出建议的过程中逐步把握语言的得体性。重点难点重点：提建议的各种句式难点：运用提建议的各种句式就英语学习提出建议教学准备PPT课件；活动2、3、5、6的录音授课时数2课时教学过程Step 1　Warming upFree talk. Let’s try to speak English as much as possible.  让我们试着尽可能多说英语。 (1) try to do sth. 表示“努力去做某事，尽力做某事”。He tried to take good care of his sister when his mother was out.他妈妈出去时他尽量照顾好他的妹妹。  (2) as much as possible 尽可能多地     类似的还有as soon as possible“尽可能快地”。2. Why not write down our mistakes in our notebooks?    为什么不把错误记在我们的笔记本上呢？ (1)“Why not …?”用来表示提出建议，相当于“Why don’t you/we…?”。    Why not take a walk after supper?    = Why don’t you take a walk after supper?你为什么不晚饭后散步呢？【拓展】类似表示提出建议的句型还有：      How about …?        What about …?      Would you like …?      Let’s …  (2) write down 意为“写下，记下”，与put down同义。    Let’s write down the correct answers.让我们写下正确的答案吧。    How about writing down your ideas? 写下你的想法怎么样？3. And don’t forget to write down the correct answers next to the mistakes. What else?而且不要忘记把正确答案写在所犯错误旁边。还有吗？(1)forget to do sth.忘记去做某事（某事还没发生）forget doing sth.忘记做过某事（某事已经发生）Don’t forget to post a letter for me.别忘了帮我邮信。I forget seeing you somewhere.我忘记了在什么地方见过你。【拓展】类似用法的单词还有remember, stop等。 remember to do sth.记得要做某事remember doing sth.记得做过某事(2) else常用在疑问词或不定代词后，表示“其他，另外”。这里的 what else 接在前几个表示建议的句子后，相当于“What else should you do?”。Who else did you see at the meeting?你在会上还看见谁了？Does anyone else want to read this book?还有别人想要看这本书吗？4. Yes, that’s good for our pronunciation. 是的，它有益于我们的发音。be good for 表示“对……有益”,其反义短语为be bad for“对……有害”。Eating more vegetables is good for your health.多吃蔬菜对你们的健康有好处。Playing computer games is bad for our eyes.玩电脑游戏对我们的眼睛有害。5. I agree with you.我同意你的观点。  agree with sb.表示“同意某人的看法、观点”。  agree on sth.表示“同意某事”。Step 6　Practice1. Ask the students to finish Activity 4 on Page 3:Underline the correct words and expressions.Here is my (1) advice / notebook on learning English.
