D: Gd afternn. I: Dr. Maguire,in ur daily life,we may cme acrss varius cnflicts. Fr example,neighburs cmplain f extremely lud music until very late at night and parents becme really angry with their children fr spending t much time nline. In yur pinin,what is the best way t deal with cnflict?
D: Well,there are three cmmn ways. The first way is t respnd t anger with mre anger. This means yu react mre negatively and vilently t a situatin f cnflict. This is the wrst way f handling cnflict,because the situatin can get wrse r even lead t vilence. Unfrtunately,it is ne f the mst cmmn ways f reacting t cnflict.I: Mm,that’s true. D: Anther way,which desn’t wrk very well,is ding nthing. I: What d yu mean? D: This is when the persn says nthing and tries t escape r ignre the situatin. They just hpe that if they hld ut fr lng enugh,things will get better by and by. This des nt slve any prblem and the persn wh withdraws feels mre and mre angry with the ther persn. Hlding yur feelings inside can be very unhealthy.

D: Well,this is when yu call n smebdy utside the situatin,and they decide what shuld happen. This can be useful,especially if the cnflict is serius.
