Have you ever heard of "humble"（卑微的）? "Brag"（吹嘘）? And "humblebragging"? We use "humblebrag-ging" to describe someone who seems to make something modest but is actually trying to bring attention to something they are proud of. This is the famous Chinese word "fan er sai".

Onions
When we think of onions, of course we think of their strong smell. But it is also a surname（姓氏）. This last name was first popular in France and Ireland, dating back to 1279. It was commonly used by those who either sold or grew the vegetables.
Smellie

Donna's fourth grade classroom looked like many others I had seen in the past. Yet something seemed different that day I entered it for the first time.
