Thse accustmed t brwsing thrugh thusands f bks in large bkstres may find Japan’s Mrika Shten a little strange. That’s because this tiny bkstre that is lcated in Ginza,Tky sells nly a single bk at a time.
Opened in May 2015, Mrika Shten is the brainchild f Yshiyuki Mrika. He began his career as a bkstre clerk in Tky’s Kanda district befre branching ut t pen his wn stre. It was here while rganizing bk reading and signing that he realized that custmers usually came int the stre with ne title in mind.
