instead of +  名词                      人称代词宾格     代替，而不是…            动词ing形式例：Now I can walk to school instead of riding a bike. 现在我可以不行去上学，而不是骑自行车。be made of… ：由…制成（由成品中可以看出原材料）be made from…：由…制成（由成品中看不出原材料）be made by…：由…制造（加制造者）be made in…：某物生产于某地（加产地）例：The shopping bags are made of plastic. 购物袋由塑料制成。（可以看出原材料）The phone was made in China. 这款手机是中国制造。（加产地）enough： 修饰名词，可前可后足够的    修饰形容词或副词，必须后置例：You should drink enough water. = You should drink water enough. 你应该喝足够的水。The little boy is old enough to go to school. 这个小男孩年龄足够大，能去上学了。as soon as：“一…就…”，引导时间状语从句，遵循主将从现原则。unless：“除非，如果不”，引导条件状语从句，= if…not结构，遵循主将从现原则。…so that…：“目的是，以便于”，引导目的状语从句。so…that…：“如此…以至于…”，引导结果状语从句。 例：I will call you as soon as I arrive in Beijing. 我一到达北京，就给你打电话。I won’t go to his birthday party unless he invites me. = I won’t go to his birthday party if he don’t invite me. (if … not结构)我不会去他的生日聚会的，除非他邀请我。We should study hard so that we can get into a good high school. （目的状语从句）我们应该努力学习，以便于进入一个好高中。She is so young that she can’t look after herself. （结果状语从句）她是如此的小，以至于不能照顾自己。
