“I’m sorry,” I apologized, “but that’s impossible! Crowds made me nervous and unsure. Besides, I didn’t like animals, remember?” “That’s nonsense,” said Carla. “There’s nothing to be concerned about because you’ll be great!” Carla encouraged me to be brave and confident. When the show began, I announced the first pet, nervously. It was a bird named Butter whose talent was walking back and forth on a wire. When Butter finished, everyone clapped and cheered. So far, everything was perfect.

It was amazing to get the pets to settle down. Now I am not afraid of pet dogs, and with boldness, I can speak in front of a crowd confidently.

My mom and I were upset by my dad’s decision, but my brother was pleased with it. So, we had to agree with them. We got life jackets, our raft and paddles that were used to row it, and then took a bus to the drop point where we carried the raft to the icy cold water. Within the first hour, we got stuck on two rocks. Another raft had to hit ours to get us off the rocks. After about two hours, we saw a huge rock on the right side of the river. It was coming out of the water about ten feet high and about fifteen feet wide. Somehow, we ended up on top of this rock. After about a minute, water started rushing in where my brother was sitting. When he started falling into the water, I tried to pull him back. Unfortunately, we fell off together. My mother jumped in after us, but she could only get to my brother because he was closer than I was. My dad jumped out and ran up the bank of the river to get to the road, so he could see where I was. I was picked up after about two minutes by a stranger in another raft and was heading down the river toward a little resting spot.
I kept crying because I was so frightened and worried about my family.

I kept crying because I was so frightened and worried about my family. Thankfully, they were saved by another two rafts, and everyone was fine, just a little frightened and very cold. At the little testing spot, we had a short rest and then decided to continue the rafting. When we got back in our raft, we had only two paddles to leave for us four people. We all knew that it was going to take a very long time to get to the end.
One of the guides for another raft told us that there was an earlier place we could get out. So we planned to get out from the place. But unfortunately, we missed the exit and headed down to the ending point. We had tried our best to avoid falling into the river, and several times we narrowly escaped. Our metal awning had a strong ability to protect this window from rain and other heavy things that could possibly fall down.
