Unit 4 Body LanguageLearning About Language Period 1教学设计                                      教材分析该部分的活动充分复现和巩固阅读文本中出现的重点词汇，旨在帮助学生熟悉词性转换，充分融入词块教学，并在相关语境中得以运用。通过不同的词汇练习活动，让学生掌握目标词汇的运用，同时拓宽学生的视野，加深学生对本单元主题意义的理解。教学目标 在本课学习结束时，学生能够：1. 掌握目标词汇和词块：differ，vary，rely，interact，approve，embarrass，favour，demonstrate， clue，gesture，by contrast，by comparison，break down，approve of等。2. 能够通过词性转换来建构词汇语义网，扩大词汇量。3. 能够引导学生在语境中正确运用相关词汇。教学重难点【教学重点】引导学生掌握词性转换，扩大词汇量。【教学难点】引导学生能在语境中正确运用相关词汇。教学过程Step 1 Warming-upReview the passage you have learned and think of the question.What have you learned about body language?设计意图：引导学生谈谈对肢体语言的认识和理解，引出目标词。Step 2 Learning about language
1. Work on Activity 1. Fill in the table with different forms of the words. Refer to a dictionary if necessary.2. Find the sentences in the reading passage that contains the words.3. Learn about conversion. 4. Work on Activity 2. Work out the meanings of the underlined words in the sentences below. In pairs, list more words of the same kind.5. Work on Activity 3. Read the passage about body language. Fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the words and phrases in the box.6.
