Jerry is a world-famous mountain climber. He has climbed many high mountains in the world. Starting in 2015, he and his friends spent two years on an adventure(探险)in South America, covering 7,800 miles. He was even named Adventure of the Year by a famous geography magazine in 2018.
Although Jerry had achieved great success, he didn’t feel fulfilled. He asked himself, “Is it enough to climb the highest mountains? Am I doing something helpful? How can I turn my adventures into something that can help the world?”
Jerry learned that scientists need plants, rocks and water samples(样本)from the places far away to do research. But scientists can’t get there themselves as such places are hard to reach—only the bravest adventurers can make it. Jerry thought himself could do something to help. He then came up with an idea. He set up a team of top adventures to collect samples for scientists. By studying the samples, scientists could know more about the earth and find ways to protect it.
Recently Jerry and his adventurer friends have discovered a special plant life of Mountain Qomolangma. The samples they brought back have helped scientists learn how plants live in extreme(极端的)conditions.
For Jerry, this kind of adventure is most satisfying. “Such adventures had made us see life in a different way. Now, being the best climber isn’t important for me, what matters is doing something helpful while climbing the mountains. There is still much more we can do.” Jerry said to a newspaper.

There is a traditional toy called taiping nijiaojiao (“泥叫叫”又名“娃娃哨”). It is a clay toy and also a whistle (哨子) in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu. It has a history of over 1,000 years.

Have you ever wondered, what's the fastest, most effective way to learn? What's the secret to remembering what you learn?
The “learning pyramid”, developed by the National Training Laboratory, suggests that most students only remember 10% of what they read from textbooks, but keep nearly 90% of what they learn through teaching others. Research shows that when we teach what we learn, something magical happens in our minds. We suddenly notice mistakes in our thinking. We have more creative insights(洞察力). Our ideas become sharper. We remember what we learned for longer.
Many of the world's top entrepreneurs(企业家), creatives, and scientists have used this method as a central approach to their work. They've done this through various methods:
In 2016, Buffett wrote a 50-year retrospective(回顾). He says,“ As you might guess, I ended up being the main beneficiary of this effort. There's nothing like actually writing something out to clear thinking.”
Leonardo da Vinci filled tens of thousands of pages with drawings on his art, inventions, observations, and ideas. Albert Einstein took more than 80,000 pages of notes in his lifetime. Thomas Edison wrote more than five million pages of notes.
Many of the most remarkable insights in history came from pairs of friends who spent years discussing, conversing, and arguing with each other. Nobel laureates Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky spent years walking for hours a day, sharing and laughing about different opinions they noticed. Francis Crick and James Watson, the co-discoverers of the structure of DNA, batted ideas back and forth all the time, both in their shared office and during daily lunches in Cambridge.
The Feynman Learning Technique is a simple way to prove the power of teaching for better learning. It was designed by Richard Feynman, a Nobel Prize-winning physicist. You can read articles in the "How to Learn" to find out how it works.
( )61. From this passage, we can remember most of what we learn by .

( )62. What were Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky doing while they were walking together?
A. They were thinking. B. They were sharing different ideas.
C. They were arguing with each other. D. They were writing something.
( )63.How many methods did the world’s top persons use according to the passage?
A. Three. B. Four. C. Two. D. Five.
( )64. What may the underlined word it in the last paragraph refer to?
A. Richard Feynman. B. Learning pyramid.
C. The Feynman Learning Technique. D.A Nobel Prize-winning physicist
( )65. What’s the passage mainly about?
A. How to have more creative insights? B. How to be the world’s top person?
C. Buffett’s 50-year retrospective. D. A more effective way to learn.
