Why written Chinese was qualified as the perfect universal written language?2. Why written Chinese might not be a universal writing system?3. How did the universal writing system develop in the history of China? 设计意图:观看视频,引出话题,并对本课将要学习的古汉字发展做好铺垫。Step 2 Pre-reading1. Learn to analyze title and subtitle.设计意图:引导学生关注标题和副标题,为后面的标题分析解决障碍。2. Work on Activity 1. Look at the title. Predict what the text will be about.3. According to the title, can you guess how the text is developed?设计意图:根据标题推测文章大意。根据标题的第二部分让学生猜测文本的发展主线,为后文梳理文本的时间做好准备。Step 3 While-reading1. Work on Activity 3. Scan the text to find the words and phrases that describe a time. 2. Read each of those important times and answer the questions.
