    主要是用在【发表个人感受】和【说明理由】的时候。
    【发表个人感受】一般会结合【记叙】的部分,构成我们常说的【夹叙夹议文】,题目通常会有“请结合自己的经历,谈谈你的感受”这样的字样。
    【说明理由】一般是要说明你为什么适合这个岗位,为什么想加入这个部门等题目,需要在文章中写明你适合的理由。
    夹叙夹议其实就是结合上面提到的两个部分,先是写记叙部分,在写好自身经历后,再加上自己的感悟。
    我们是需要【结合自身经历】,也就是有【记叙】的板块,描述“我”之前参加过的社会公益劳动、学校组织的劳动活动、居家时的家务劳动等;
    其次,我们在【记叙】结束后,可以适当发表【议论】,即分享我的感悟;
    当然,在【记叙】前可以用1-2句来做一个铺垫,比如这篇文章可以铺垫说“在我们劳动的过程中,我们会有很多收获。有一次经历令我特别难忘。

Choose the words or expressions and complete the passage.
Before the pandemic, it was common to greet others with a hug or a shake of the hand. That’s now being  ____45____ by some people with an elbow or fist bump In the past, men bowed-bending forward at the body and lowering the head as if to say, “I’m not all that important”. Bowing is elegant (优雅的) and unlike elbow bumps, can totally avoid ____46____. So, what do you think? Should bowing make a comeback?
Yes, it’s a humble, graceful greeting.
Bowing provides a practical and graceful solution to the problem of how to greet one another in the midst of a pandemic. Bumping elbows might not spread coronavirus but it doesn’t have the elegance of a bow. It can be awkward not knowing how to greet someone, so a bow can sort this out. It means that people know ____47____ what to do without colliding(碰撞) somewhere between a hug and a handshake. A bow is a gesture of humility(谦逊), which is a sign of strength.
The Victorian writer, Charles Spurgeon, wrote that the humility of a bow leads to feeling invincible(无敌的). ____48____, in these serious times, it could be fun pretending to be in a novel by a Victorian writer.
No, it’s ____49____ to greet people in this way.
Physical touch reduces anxiety, stress and even pain. The pandemic has highlighted(突出) how much people want to hug their friends and family. Can you imagine bowing to a grandmother? In the past, bowing was common in the UK when people at the ____50____—such as royalty(皇室) and the rich—were considered more important than those lower down—such as children and the working classes. Society should not go back to a way of doing things that highlights inequality between groups. There are better ways to greet, such as the Southeast Asian way of saying “Namaste(合十礼)”, with palms together, pointing upwards in gratitude.

45.B    46.A    47.C    48.A    49.C    50.D

根据前文以及本句“Before the pandemic, it was common to greet others with a hug or a shake of the hand. That’s now being...by some people with an elbow or fist bump...”
根据“Before the pandemic, it was common to greet others with a hug or a shake of the hand.”
根据“It can be awkward not knowing how to greet someone, so a bow can sort this out. It means that people know...what to do without colliding(碰撞) somewhere between a hug and a handshake.”
Besides除此之外还;But但是;Instead相反;Still仍然。根据“The Victorian writer, Charles Spurgeon, wrote that the humility of a bow leads to feeling invincible(无敌的)...in these serious times, it could be fun pretending to be in a novel by a Victorian writer.”
    out of hand失去控制;in use在使用;out of date过时了;in business在经营中。根据前文以及本句“Yes, it’s a humble, graceful greeting. No, it’s...to greet people in this way.”
根据语境“ In the past, bowing was common in the UK when people at the...such as royalty(皇室) and the rich...”

Last month, the Grade Nine students in Garden School had a debate(辩论) on the topic “Is it a good idea for parents to talk about the family finances(家庭财政) with their kids?”. Here are some opinions from Lisa, one of the students who thinks it is a good idea.

Most parents believe it is not proper to tell their kids about how much they make and how much they spend, so most families don’t talk about money with their kids. They basically feel it is not their concern. You could easily agree. But is it really none of our business? Doesn’t our parents’ income(收入) affect us? They use the money to pay for food, clothing and shelter. If they lost their jobs and became unemployed, wouldn’t that affect us, too?
I’m not going to say parents should show their kids every bill before paying it or that they should ask their kids for advice on big financial decisions, but I will say they should keep kids involved and informed. It is part of teaching them about money and life. Kids follow their parents’ every move and learn from them.
Parents have to teach their kids about money because kids don’t learn it in school. As a parent, it’s necessary to teach them about saving, investing and staying away from credit(赊欠). Also, parents have to manage their own money well if they really want to set an example.
So I think it’s a good idea for parents to talk about the family finances with their kids. Tell them how much your salary is. It might help them decide which career to choose. Tell them how you spend your own money and talk to them before you make big purchases such as a new car. Include them in the process so that they know how it works and are satisfied with it. You can include them more and more as they get older. Don’t make money a taboo(禁忌) issue in your home.
58.Most families talk about money with their kids, don’t they?
    ________________________________________________.
59.When did the Grade Nine students in Garden School have a debate?
    _____________________________________________________________.
60.According to Lisa, what do parents use money to do?
    _____________________________________________________________.
61.Why do parents have to teach their kids about money?
    _____________________________________________________________.
62.What does Lisa mean by saying “Is it really none of our business”?
    _____________________________________________________________.
63.Do you want your parents to talk about family finances with you? Why or why not? Please give at least two reasons.
    _____________________________________________________________.

58.No, they don’t.    59.Last month.    60.Parents/They use money to pay for food, clothing and shelter.    61.Because kids don’t learn it in school.    62.Linda/She means it is some of our business./Linda/She means the family finances have something to do with kids.    63.Yes, I do. Because it can help me decide which career to choose and it is part of teaching me about money and life.

58.根据“so most families don’t talk about money with their kids.” No, they don’t.
59.根据“Last month, the Grade Nine students in Garden School had a debate(辩论) on the topic ‘Is it a good idea for parents to talk about the family finances(家庭财政) with their kids?’.” Last month.
60.根据“They use the money to pay for food, clothing and shelter.” Parents/They use money to pay for food, clothing and shelter.
61.根据“Parents have to teach their kids about money because kids don’t learn it in school.” Because kids don’t learn it in school.
62.根据“Doesn’t our parents’ income(收入) affect us? They use the money to pay for food, clothing and shelter. If they lost their jobs and became unemployed, wouldn’t that affect us, too?” Linda/She means it is some of our business./Linda/She means the family finances have something to do with kids.
Yes, I do. Because it can help me decide which career to choose and it is part of teaching me about money and life.
