（二）词汇用法小结

1. 关于时间的表达：

（1）“整点”表达：基数词+ o’clock  eg. 8:00 读作 eight o’clock, 5:00读作：five o’clock

（2）“非整点”表达: (半小时可用half表示，15分钟/一刻钟可用a quarter 表示)

②逆读法：  0＜X≤30分钟，用X分past N点，即几点过几分；（6:10读作：ten past six 六点过十分）

               X＞30分钟，用60-X分 to N+1点，即几点差几分。(5:55读作：five to six 六点差五分)

2. 关于do (one’s) homework 做某人的家庭做作业

 one’s名词所有格，指“某人的”，可用人称代词的形容行物主代词替换。

3.关于either... or... 的用法

（1）意为“要么……要么……；或者……或者……”，连接句子中的两个并列成分，表示两者之一。

（2）连接两个并列主语时，谓语动词与最近的主语保持一致，即“就近原则”。Eg. Either you or he is right.

（3）either单独用，意为“也（不）”，用于否定句句末。Eg. I can't play the piano, either.

4.关于lots of 的用法

（1）lots of与a lot of通用，其后既可以接可数名词复数，也可以接不可数名词。

Eg.We have lots of books for you. = We have a lot of books for you.

（2）much用作限定词时，后只能接不可数名词。Eg.We don't have much time to clean the room.

（3）many用作限定词时，后只能接可数名词复数。Eg.He has many good friends.

【拓展】a lot可作副词，意为“非常;许多”。常用于动词后。

Eg. ①Thanks a lot.多谢。 ②I like English a lot.我非常喜欢英语。
