The prmtin vide f the smart cllar claims that Catterbx, the wrld’s first talking cat cllar,is designed t finally help humans understand the meaning f mews.“Cats are ften thught f as independent pets quite hard t get t knw,s we set up The Temptatins Lab t find creative ways t inject even mre pleasure int a cat and its wner’s relatinship,” said Richard Brim, executive creative directr f adam&eveDDB.

Rlling hills and endless green lands—thse images are easy t cme int yur mind when thinking f the charming cuntry lifestyle. There is mre evidence that relates t the benefits f rural living. Villages aren’t nrmally subject t the stp-g traffic we see in city centres, the buses fighting with taxis fr dminance, r subway systems with trains that scream frm ne statin t the next. Thanks t the prgress f artificial intelligence (AI), rbts have wn against human players in a number f games, such as chess, G game and even mahjng. And nw, AIpwered rbts are shwing their talent in prfessinal curling (冰壶).
Recently, a rbt team named Curly has drawn much attentin as it successfully beat tw R.O. Krean natinal curling teams. Researchers frm Krea University in R.O. Krea, and the Berlin Institute f Technlgy in Germany develped the rbt.
Curling is a challenging sprt that requires a mix f precisin and strategy. In the game, a player called the “thrwer” gently slides the stne and releases it befre a bundary called the “hgline”. The stne slides dwn t the target, knwn as the “huse”. An ppsing team des the same, s bth teams accumulate stnes in the same huse. At the end f the rund, the team with a stne clsest t the center f the target gets a pint.
This requires the players t figure ut the frce and angle needed t slide a heavy stne in rder t land it in the huse r make it int anther psitin. Players als have t frm a strategy t prevent the ppnent frm getting their stnes clsest t the center f the huse. And apparently, Curly has made prgress in mastering these skills.
Curly is a team f tw rbts: One is respnsible fr bserving the psitin f the stnes at the scring end, while the ther des the thrwing. But hw was this rbt prgrammed t achieve this?
Researchers built a simulatin (模拟) f a curling game fr the rbts t play arund. In the simulatin, the researchers apprximated the physics f the real wrld as best as they culd, cnsidering varius cnditins, such as the ice surface and the psitins f stnes. Then, there is curling strategy. The rbts were trained in different situatins t deal with varius thrws. The researchers fund that Curly adapted t many variables (变量) f the game the same way a persn wuld.
This shws that a rbt can bserve the real wrld and act accrdingly in a precise and strategic manner, which is a sign f a prmising future fr the everexpanding use f AI.

A.It culd cnsider different cnditins. B.It culd develp new game strategies.
C.It culd build a simulatin f a game. D.It culd cpy what human players d.
35.What attitude des the authr have tward AI technlgies?
