ChatGPT is a powerful chat robot developed by OpenAI. The company has introduced a new language model: GPT-4.

However, there are still problems with GPT-4. It can't get completely correct answers, especially with newer information after September 2021. GPT-4 also sometimes “hallucinates(产 生幻觉)”. It will be sure that wrong information is true.

Do you like remembering things? Is that difficult or easy for you? I’d like to tell you some ways to improve your memory(记忆力).

My first advice is that if you want to remember something well, you have to review it often. You might review material(材料) two days after learning it, then a week later, then two weeks later, and then a month later. After a month, you will find that you can remember the material easily.

My second advice is to use a colored pen to mark the important parts on your book. This will help you in two ways. First, it will help you pay attention to the most important parts when you learn the language. It is always easier to remember only the key points. Second, this will make reviewing easier. When you open your book, the colored parts will show you the most important things quickly. In this way, you don’t have to review all the material again.

Another piece of advice is to use the proper time well. First, review all the information in your mind before you go to sleep. Because your brain is working while you are sleeping. If you think about the information before you go to sleep, you might be able to remember it better. Another good time for memorizing information is in the morning because you have just rested and your brain is fresh and clear. So you might also try to review the important information in the morning.

 Separate dining is common in the western culture, while in China’s dining culture, whether dining at home or eating out, people like to eat together. However, the COVID-19(新冠疫情) made the government, restaurants and people rethink about the Chinese eating customs.

 Standards on individual(供一人用的) dining, serving chopsticks and two pairs of chopsticks came out on March 18. Here are the main points. First, individual diners’ food should be served to customers. Second, each shared dish should be served with a separate pair of serving chopsticks. Third, each diner should have two pairs of chopsticks. One is to get food from shared dishes to place into individual bowls, and the other is for eating from individual bowls.

 The purpose of the new standards is to protect the public health. Many restaurants and customers follow the standards. According to a survey about separate dining, nearly 89% of people believe it’s more hygienic(卫生的) because it lowers the risk of infection via saliva(唾液传染).

 For Chinese, there are some reasons for following their dining ways. They think the grouped dining is a tradition. When they share the food, they are building up a close relationship among them. Besides, it is difficult to divide Chinese dishes into separate parts.

 Eating separately is a break from tradition, but people can still sit at the same table, sharing the same food and the same culture in a new way.
