N Mre Mystery in the Neighbrhd Last week, in a quiet neighbrhd, smething strange happened. Residents heard nises in the night but n ne knew why. Victr thught that it was teenagers having fun while his wife and neighbr, Helen, blamed it n animals.
We nw knw what was happening in the neighbrhd. A ranger’s statin(护林站)is being built in the nearby frest. Trees had t be cut dwn t make space fr the statin. This affected sme animals living in the frest. A raccn(浣熊)family lst their hme and had prblems finding fd.
The raccns discvered fd in the neighbrhd’s garbage bins(垃圾桶),s they came back every night. Nw the mystery is slved. Peple in the neighbrhd feel srry fr the raccns and they are trying t help them.
