In the universe, as we know, there is the sun, the moon, the earth and many stars. Through our geography lessons, we know the earth goes around the sun, and the moon goes around the earth. We have day and night because the earth keeps turning all the time. When our part of the earth turns to the sun, it is day. When our part of the earth turns away from the sun, it is night.
Just because the moon is closer to the earth than the sun, it looks much bigger than the sun. Big things look smaller when they are farther, and small things also look bigger when they are nearer.
The sun is bright enough to give out very strong light. The moon can't give out any light at all, but it looks quite bright too. Why? In fact, the light from the moon comes from the sun. The moon looks much bigger and brighter than the stars. But actually the stars are much bigger and brighter than the moon. They look smaller than the moon also because they are farther away from the earth.
There are still many other planets in the solar system(太阳系). All of them move round the sun. But of all these planets, only on the earth there are living things and people can only live on the earth too. At 21:01 on December 4,2022, Shenzhou 14 astronauts Chen Dong, Liu Yang and Cai Xuzhe all returned safely. They had stayed in the space for almost six months. It helps us learn more about the space.
70. We find the sun ______ than the moon because it is ______ to us.

People like to think about what the future is going to be like. But do you know that some people predict (预言) the future as a job? Those who study and predict the future are called "futurists". They can predict what is going to happen in the future from the information they know now. In this way, futurists can help people and businesses get ready for the future.
What do futurists say about the future? They think there are going to be big changes in people's everyday lives! For example, computers are going to tell the car where we want to go, and the car is going to get us there without making a mistake! Some futurists think it will be possible to talk with moving 3D images of people who are in the other places. They say we're not going to use as much paper as we do today, and we're not going to need money at all because we're going to use special cards for everything we buy!
Some futurists predict that scientists will be able to change the weather, that botanists (植物学家) are going to make new kinds of plants so there is more food for more people, and that there are going to be new ways to cook food quickly.
Of course, even scientists don't really know what the future is going to be like. They can only guess. But we can be sure of one thing, that is, the future is going to be very different.
