【教学目标】
(一)语言目标:
1.词汇:能听懂、会说、认读单词teacher, farmer, postman, nurse, doctor, driver.
2.句型:能初步运用“Is he a soldier?”,“Yes, he is. / No, he isn't.”,“Is she a nurse? Yes, she is. /No, she isn't.”询问他人职业,并能对别人的询问做出恰当的回答.
(二)应用目标:
1.能在图片或课件的帮助下说出相关职业名称.
2.能用本单元的词汇和句型询问他人职业并能对别人的询问做出恰当的回答.
3.能通过观察制服等典型外部特征判断他人的职业.
4.能听懂、会说A部分的对话.
【教学重难点】
重点:能听懂、会说、认读单词teacher, farmer, postman, nurse, doctor, driver,并能初步运用“Is he a soldier?”,“Yes, he is. /No, he isn't.”,“Is she a nurse? Yes, she is. /No, she isn't.”询问他人职业并作答.
难点:driver的发音以及nurse和doctor职业的区别.
【教学准备】
用于新授的职业单词卡片,教学图片,Tim和Dino的家庭照片,职业头饰,教学音频,教学动画等.(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件)
【教学过程】
I. 热身/复习(Warm-up / Revision)
1.A chant: Who's she?
Who's she? Is she your sister? Uh-huh, yes, she is my sister. Who's she? Is she your mother? Uh-uh, no, she's not my mother. Who's he? Is he your brother? Uh-huh, yes, he is my brother. Who's he? Is he your father? Uh-uh, no, he's not my father.
2.Free talk.
T: Hello, boys and girls. What do you like?
S1: I like a sunny day.
T: What do you like?
S2: I like a dog.
T: And what do you like?
S3: I like an apple.
T: What do I like? Do you want to know? Ask me, please.
S4: What do you like, Miss?
T: I like you. I like all of you because you are my students.(既复习旧知,又自然导入新授)
II. 新课里现(Presentation)
1.New words
(1)教师出示图片,带读单词teacher,请学生单个读、两个读或小组练读,后拼读板书在四线格中.
(2)教师拿出一封信.
T: Look at this letter. Who sent it to me? A postman sent to me.
教师出示图片,带读单词postman,用划线的形式将之分解成post和man两个部分,后拼读板书在四线格中.
(3)教师出示farmer图片.
T: Is he a teacher?
Ss: No. he isn't.(教师可引导学生回答)
T: Is he a postman?
Ss: No, he isn't.
T: What's he? He's a farmer.
(4)教授单词:nurse, doctor, driver
(5)词汇操练:
a.利用音频的地道发音带读.
b.Play a game: How many fingers how many times.
游戏规则:教师出示单词卡片,并快速出示手指,如出示两个手指学生则读两遍,三个手指则读三遍.却要增加难度,则可规定教师出示几个手指时学生必须保持安静,否则犯规.
c.教师出示职业图片提问,要求学生回答.
T(出示邮递员图片):Is he a farmer?
S1: No, he isn't.
T(出示农民图片):Is he a farmer?
S2: Yes, he is.
(板书并带读句型:Is he a farmer? Yes, he is. / No, he isn't.)
T(出示护士图片):Is she a doctor?
S3: No, she isn't.
T: Is she a nurse?
S4: Yes, she is.
2.The dialogue
第一步:Listen and count.
让学生闭上眼睛,听录音,听音前给出任务:你听到了几个关于职业的单词?分别是哪几个?
第二步:Listen and find.
打开书,听音,画出所有关于职业的单词,检查刚才自己听到的是否正确.
第三步:Listen and repeat.
听音跟读,引导学生正确模仿其语音和语调.
第四步:Listen and remember.
闭上眼睛,听音,并努力记忆,随后让学生说出其记忆深刻的句子.
第五步:Work in groups.
让学生以小组为单位朗读课文,教师巡视指导,引导学生互帮互学.
III. 趣味练习(Practice)
游戏:快速竞猜.
游戏规则:教师从一大组中请一名学生代表上台,并面向全班同学,课件出示图片或单词,教师问:“What's he / she? Please guess.”
学生用“Is he / she…?”猜测,全班同学进行判断.教师计算每组代表在规定时间内猜中的数量,并评出优胜组.
(提示:如不能使用课件,可由教师直接出示图片或单词卡片.)
T: What's he? Please guess.
S1: Is he a postman?
Ss: No, he isn't.
S1: Is he a doctor?
Ss: Yes, he is.
IV. 角色表演(Act and play)
情境:Tim和Dino在一起看Tim的家庭照片,一边看一边相互提问.
Dino: Who's he? Is he your father?
Tim: Yes, he is.
Dino: Is he a postman?
Tim: No, he isn't. He is a driver.
Dino: Is she your mother?
Tim: Yes, she is.
Dino: Is she a teacher?
Tim: No, she is a nurse.
(教师可根据学生的实际情况,给予适当的示范)
【作业布置】
1.读新单词.
2.听音频,读对话.
3.做职业卡片,并配上四线格和相应的单词.
