    1. Sing a song:Eat an apple everyday.

    2. Play a game: Sharp eyes

    T: Lets play a game together. If you know the fruit, please stand up and read it, OK?

    3. Play a game to consolidate the names of the fruit.

     

    Lead in the topic, and present some new fruit.

    Pre-task

    4. Show a video about buying fruit in the supermarket.

    T: Wow, so many fruit. I like fruit. Lets go to the supermarket to get some fruit, OK? But how to choose some fruit in the supermarket? Let’s watch a video together.  And you need to tell me What fruit do they like.

    5. Present the sentence structure: What fruit do you like? --- I like.

                                 May/Can I have ?---Yes. Here you are./ Sorry, no

    T: In the video, what fruit do they like?

    S: They like apples and oranges.

    T: What about you, children? What fruit do you like ?

    S1: I like oranges.

    T: I have some oranges. Do you want some?

    S: Yes.

    T: How to ask me for the oranges?(May/ Can I..?)

    S: May/ Can I have some oranges?

    T: Of course. Here you are.

    6. Play a game in pairs.

    T: Please take out your fruit, play this game in pairs. If you get more fruit, you can be the winner.

    T: Times up. How many fruit do you get? (1,2,3..?)

    Ss: 4,10,

    T: Wow, you get so many fruit. Are they all good for us?

    S: No.

    7. Present the sentence structure: is/are good for us./ is/are not good for us.

    8. Play a game: What food are good for us and what food are not good for us.

    T: Please look at the PPT. Try to discuss in pairs. What food are good for us. What food are not good for us.

    T: Lets check the answers together.

    S: Apples are good for us

    T: Children, from the table we know that fruit are good for us. But too much fruit are not good for us. For example, too many mangoes makes you itchy. Too much watermelon makes you a stomachache.
