The Tled Hspital, the nly hspital near us that culd d this surgery, ffered t d it fr Grandma. She, bviusly, agreed.
    The grey mrning f the surgery was rugh fr ur family, as we wke up bright and early t drive t the hspital.[悬念2] That car ride left me with wrried thughts racing thrugh my mind: Will Grandma be kay? Will we ever take anther walk arund the blck?
    When we arrived at the hspital, we knew exactly where t g, as we'd been there many times befre. After ging thrugh thse familiar drs and up the stairs, my mum and I walked up t the nurses' desk and asked fr Grandma.
    “Oh, Mary?” A nurse answered. “She's ne f the nicest patients we've had.”[悬念3] Then she directed us t the waiting rm and tld us that nly tw f us were permitted t g int the ward (病房) at a time t say gdbye t Grandma befre she went in fr surgery.

    一、理清文章大意
    关键:Wh: Grandma

    大意:奶奶心脏有问题,不得不做手术,作者和她的家人们都非常担心。
    二、挖掘文中悬念点
    悬念1 思考:奶奶为什么每周五晚上就会问这个问题?
    悬念2思考:作者为什么说奶奶动手术的那天早晨的天是灰色的,有什么寓意吗?
    悬念3思考:这句话除了说明奶奶经常住院治疗,还能说明奶奶是什么样的性格?

    段首句1思考:
    ①作者看到奶奶了吗?会拥抱奶奶吗?奶奶会对作者说些什么?

    The last tw peple were Grandpa and me. Entering the rm, I saw Grandma sitting n the bed with a blanket arund her. I ran frward and gave her the biggest hug with tearful eyes. Grandma, hlding me tightly in her arms, said, “I knw there's a chance I wn't make it, but I lve yu frever.” Grandpa patted Grandma n the back and cmfrted her, “Dn't wrry, hney. We are all waiting fr yu here.” Grandma ndded with her usual smile. Then she was wheeled away, leaving us waiting and praying anxiusly.
    Finally, after the lngest mrning f my life, the dctr entered the waiting rm, smiling. “Mary is ut f surgery. Yu're allwed t visit her as lng as yu're quiet,” he said. Relief swept ver my bdy and tears began rlling dwn my face. Once we walked int the rm, there lay Grandma, lking peaceful yet painful with s many tubes attached t her. I felt s shcked but s happy. Grandma wuld be kay. She was taking the first step t becming better and ging n anther walk with us ne day.
