Missing boy, now 18-year-old, Sun Zhuo, was finally reunited(团聚) with his family on December 6, 2021. He had been taken away from his family for 14 years.

In September, 2007, Sun Zhuo’s family moved to Shenzhen from Hubei. On October 9 that year, Sun Zhuo was abducted(诱拐) by a man while playing in front of the family's house. Sun's parents never stopped looking for their boy. They even offered a reward(报酬) of 200,000 yuan for anyone who found him. They also helped other parents search for their missing children, working with police and media(媒体).

In 2014, their story was made into a movie called Dearest. Now, it finally came to a tearful but happy ending in real life as the couple cried and hugged their son in Shenzhen. The live broadcast(直播) of their reunion was watched by millions of viewers. Sun Zhuo later moved to Shenzhen, living with his parents.

The happy reunion was made, thanks to the great efforts made by Shenzhen plice. In October 2021, the police found a couple - suspecting(怀疑) they had bought a child from an abductor about 14 years ago. DNA tests showed that their boy was Sun Zhuo. Although they raised Sun Zhuo as their own son, Wu and his wife may face criminal charges (指控) in accordance with amendments(修正案) to the Criminal Law in 2015, said China Daily.

Two other families were also reunited with their abducted boys at a reunion ceremony held by the Ministry of Public Security. Ministry officials promised to do their best to find the other fifty-two missing children and crack down on such crimes. Hopefully, this will lead to more reunions and fewer separations.

At 9 o'clock on December 10th,2021, with the sound of a whistle(哨) ,train G2197 slowly ran out of Ganzhou West Station and headed south to Shenzhen North Station. This marked the opening of the Ganzhou-Shenzhen high-speed railway, including 14 stations, with a total length of 436 kilometers, which makes it the longest railway in China. The total travel time between the two cities has been cut from 6 hours to 2 hours.

The building of the Ganshen high-speed railway was a challenge(挑战) . As the railway travels through the mountainous areas of southern Jiangxi and northern Guangdong, workers had to be careful with many cultural landscapes(风景) and protection areas. When it was completed, 323 bridges and 157 tunnels(隧道) were built, taking up 90% of the total length.
