讲授新课 | 1.Vocabulary (1) Look at the pictures and learn the words. scientist, inventor, poet, poem, writer, American, French, Danish, paint (2) Repeat the pronunciation. (3) Words revision: two words games.
Look at the famous people and choose the right words to describe him, then make sentences. For example: Thomas Edison: He was Thomas Edison. He was American. He was an inventor.
What do you know about ...? He was Chinese / English / French / American / Danish / ... He was a/an writer / poet / artist / scientist / inventor / ... He was good at doing something.
6. Let’s talk. (1) Watch the Flash. (2) Try to repeat the conversations. (3)Let’s act. (4) Let’s write according to the talk. 7. Look at the pictures and talk more. For example: What do you know about Hans Christian Andersen? He was Danish. He was a writer. He was good at writing stories for children. 8.
