When Tal Gleswrthy was tld he needed a lifesaving heart peratin in 1993, he said n. Gleswrthy has Marfan syndrme (马凡氏综合征).

The arta, he thught, needed supprt n the utside. And wrapping smething arund the utside f the arta wuld require a special peratin. S Gleswrthy subjected himself t 30 hurs in an MRI scanner and used 3D printing t create a physical exact cpy f the part f his heart. “Luckily, I'd dne a lt f wrk with technical materials,” he says.
