    B
根据第一段的“Fr me grwing up, the me with a day t play with clr and water with my belved family and friends”可知,作者将这个节日视为和所爱的家人及朋友一起庆祝、玩乐的日子。
最后一段的“frgive myself fr nt staying up t date with what's happening in my cuntry”也是对此处的暗示。
根据第三段的“I dn't knw hw t d a better jb f keeping up t date t cllege life”“Keeping up with news frm hme, hwever, requires the extra individual have t d here”可知,作者因为校园生活太忙而没有时间关注故乡的消息,这导致作者和故乡脱节了。
结合最后一段内容尤其是“But with the pprtunity t celebrate the festival away frm hme with friends at the I need t hld dear and deserves my deep gratefulness”可知,有机会在大学与朋友一起庆祝节日,并学会原谅自己没有及时了解故乡正在发生的事情让作者知道她目前的生活正是她需要珍惜并深深感激的。
A项是对下文现象的概括描述,选项中的“mre than nce”与下文的“arund 20 times”相照应,故A项符合语境。

13.答案与解析:B 上文提到“a fall and winter garden seems unprductive”“The lush greenness(郁郁葱葱)f spring and summer”,结合语境和常识可知,春季和夏季的郁郁葱葱可能不复存在了。bvius“明显的,不加掩饰的”;gne“不复存在,一去不复返”;alive“有活力”。

arise“出现”;mature“成熟,长成”。
