观看对话视频后回答问题，检验学生对对话细节的理解。

B. Let’s try

1. 课件呈现人物图片，创设语言情境。

   T: School is over. Miss White is talking to Wu Binbin. What are they

talking about?

2. 学生浏览题干，提前预测听力重点内容。然后老师播放录音，学生

完成Let’s try部分的两道选择题。

  Q1: What are they talking about?    S1: B. (A pen pal.)

  Q2: How old is the student from Australia?  S2: A. (He is 11 years old.)

3. 老师再次播放录音，学生跟读听力原文。然后在听力原文中找出听

力题的关键信息“pen pal”和“11 years old”。

4. Read and fill in the blanks.

  学生根据Let’s try部分的内容，补全短文。

1. 教师介绍澳大利亚的相关知识，让学生了解澳大利亚的相关文化。

T: What do you know about Wu Binbin’s pen pal?

1. Fill in the blanks.

  学生根据对话内容，补全短文。

2. Talk about your hobbies.

1.   呈现课本P40的交友广告，学生将John的相关信息填上。

T: John wants to make more friends from different countries. Can you help him finish an ad on a pen pal website.

2.    教师引导学生制作自己的交友广告。

T: Design an ad for yourself. You can do like this: Hi! My name is John. I’m…years old. I’m from… I live in… I like... Write to me or chat with me. Let’s be friends!

3.    请学生上台展示自己的交友广告。
