Unit 5 What does he do?第四课时Part B Let's try & Let's talk教学目标 知识目标:能听懂Let’s try部分的内容并完成相应的练习;熟练掌握句型“—Where does your father/mother work? —He/She works in/at/on...”“—How does he/she go to work? —He/She goes to work...”并能在情景中运用。2.能力目标:培养学生的听力能力和口头表达能力。3.情感目标:教育学生要努力学习、保持健康的生活方式。教学重点能够在情景中运用所学句型询问他人工作地点和上班的方式。教学难点能灵活运用所学的句型与他人交流职业、工作地点及出行方式。教学准备课件、录音和相关视频。 教学过程批注Step 1 Revision & Warm-up 通过PPT出示上一课时学过的词汇和句型,帮助学生唤醒旧知,激发学生的学习兴趣,为后面的学习做好铺垫。 Revision课件呈现上节课所学的职业名词和工作地点的名词,帮助学生复习重点词汇和句型。 T: What does he/she do? Ss:He/She is a ... (fisherman, pilot, scientist, coach ) T: Where does he/she work? Ss:He/She works in/on/at ... (university, sea, plane, gym) Warm-up 教师播放Main scene的视频,为后面的学习做铺垫。 T: What does Amy’s father do? S1: He’s a pilot.T: Where does he work? S2: He works near the sea.Step 2 Presentation&Practice 呈现Let’s try板块的语言情境,先让学生预测对话内容,然后听录音并完成练习,培养学生良好的听前预测习惯。 呈现Let’s talk板块的图片,引导学生观察图片,预测即将学习的对话内容,培养学生的逻辑思维能力。观看视频后完成练习,检验学生对对话细节的理解。 B. Let’s try课件呈现Let’s try板块的背景,导入新课。T: Mike and Xiao Yu are going home now. Mike sees a man coming towards them. Who is he?学生浏览题干,提前预测Let’s try听力重点内容。老师播放录音,学生完成Let’s try的两道选择题。 Q1: What does Xiao Yu’s uncle look like? S1: A. (Big and tall.) Q2: Does Xiao Yu’s uncle often take him to school? S2: A. (Yes, he does.) 教师再次播放录音,学生跟读听力原文。然后教师引导学生在听力原文中找出关键信息“big”,“tall”和“He often takes me to school on his way to work.”。课件呈现一张思维导图,教师引导学生根据思维导图介绍Mike叔叔的职业、工作地点及出行方式。B. Let’s talk通过介绍Xiao Yu叔叔的个人信息,引出新的话题。T: Xiao Yu 's uncle is a police officer. He works in a police office. He goes to work by car. What about Mike's uncle?Watch and answer.学生浏览题干,提前预测视频重点。播放视频,学生回答问题。Q1: What does Mike’s uncle do?
