一、教学目标

1. 掌握本课重点词汇：daily, weekly, quick, real, have an English test, at first, have a lovely time, read slowly, my daily life, keep writing in English

2. 掌握本课重点句型：

We have a monthly test on each subject.

To me, learning foreign languages is really fun.

I also keep writing in English about my daily life.

I learn to use English better this way. 

3. 掌握名词加后缀-y和后缀-ly构成形容词的规则。
4. 掌握形容词加后缀构成副词的规则。
5. 运用所学写日记，更形象具体地描述日常生活，表达情感与态度。

三、教学过程

Task 1

Step 1 Warming-up

Read and think.

【设计意图】通过对话，关注重点词汇，引出本课即将要学习的主要内容。

Step 2 Presentation

1. Complete and think.

2. Work out the rules.

【设计意图】通过练习，总结出名词加后缀-y和后缀-ly构成形容词的规则。

Step 3 Practice

Ask Ss to fill in the blanks.

【设计意图】通过构词法的练习，让学生加深名词加后缀-y和后缀-ly构成形容词的规则的记忆，进一步内化规则。

Task 2

Step 1 Presentation

1. Complete and think.

Step 2 Practice

1. Ask Ss to fill in the blanks.

2. Use correct words to complete the sentences.

3. Add -ly to the words and put them in different groups.

4. Complete the diary and read it.

1. Review how to use the words with the suffix -ly.

2. Write a diary about the daily life using adjectives and adverbs.
