1. Guide Ss to have a free talk.(1) Are you crazy about DIY?
(2) What do you like to make by yourself?【设计意图】通过自由讨论,导入本节课主题。Step2 Pre-readingGuide Ss to match the words with meanings.【设计意图】通过词义匹配练习,帮助学生了解本节课重要词汇的含义,为接下来的阅读活动扫除词汇障碍。Step 3 While-reading1. Guide Ss to read the passage quickly and answer questions.(1) What’s the article mainly about?(2) Is Andrew good at doing DIY? Why?【设计意图】引导学生快速阅读课文,通过问题聚焦文章核心内容。2. Guide Ss to read Paragraph 2 carefully and fill in the table.3. Guide Ss to read Paragraph 3 carefully and fill in the table.4. Guide Ss to read Paragraph 4 carefully and fill in the table.【设计意图】引导学生分段进行精读,并填写表格,帮助学生提取文章细节信息。5.
