Show some pictures and get Ss to talk about them while learning the words “meaning”, “illness” and “action”.【设计意图】结合图片通过问答的形式，教授带有后缀的单词，同时引导学生关注mean向meaning，ill向illness，以及act向action的转化。2. Get Ss to learn by themselves and figure out the rules, and then explain the suffixes “-ing”, “-ness” and “-ion” in “meaning”, “illness” and “action”. 【设计意图】引导学生观察，通过自己总结出构词法知识，帮助学生明确学习内容。Step 3 Practice1. Get Ss to brainstorm more nouns with the suffixes “ing”, “ness” and “ion”.
