Step 1 Warm-up

播放歌曲，让学生跟唱并做动作，激发学生的学习兴趣。

       Sing a song.

1. 课件播放歌曲“If you are happy”，教师带领学生一起唱。
2. 教师说指令，学生做出相应的动作。

Teacher says, “happy” Students clap their hands.

Teacher says, “angry” Students stamp their feet.

3. 再次播放歌曲，学生做出相应的表情。

通过游戏让学生合理运用所学语言，激发学生的英语学习动力。

通过补全句子的练习，检测学生是否能正确理解Let’s learn板块的词汇。

课件呈现各种表情的图片，并让学生尝试做出这些表情，引出本单元的主题—Feelings。

T: In our life, people have different feelings. Can you express these

feelings?

T: Today we’re going to learn how to describe feelings.

1. Let’s learn.

1. 呈现Let’s learn板块的第一张图片，学习词汇“angry, afraid”。

T: The cat broke the cup. How does Sarah feel?  Ss: She’s angry.

T: How does the cat feel?        Ss: It’s afraid.

2. 呈现Let’s learn板块的第二张图片，学习词汇“ill, sad”。

T: What’s wrong with the cat?    Ss: The cat is ill.

T: How does Sarah feel?         Ss: She is sad.

3. 呈现Let’s learn板块的第三张图片，学习词汇“worried”。

T: Look, where is the cat?         Ss: It’s in the tree.

T: Can it get down from the tree?   Ss: No, it can’t.

T: How do they feel?             Ss: They’re worried.

4. 呈现Let’s learn板块的第四张图片，学习词汇“happy”。

T: The cat is in the tree. Sarah and the cat are worried. Who can help them?  

Ss: The firefighters.

T: Two firefighters saved the cat. How do they feel?

Ss: They are happy.

2. 课件呈现五个表情词汇，教师带读，学生跟读。

       Practice

1. Fast reaction. (小狗吃骨头&转盘游戏)

1. 学生快速说出单词，比一比谁读的快。
2. 教师操作转盘并提问，学生根据指针所指的图片回答问题，比一比说的快。

2. Listen and repeat.

教师播放音频，学生跟读。

3. Fill in the blanks.

学生根据课件呈现的图片，补全句子。

4. Describe the pictures. (P59 Let’s learn 板块的四张图片)

教师请学生代表上台描述Sarah和the cat的情绪或状态。

Step 3 Consolidation&Extension

让学生运用所学语言询问并描述他人的情绪，培养学生语言综合运用能力。

1. Write and say.

1. 课件呈现“Write and say”板块的图片，学生先观察图片然后回答问题。

Ss: He is doing his homework.

T: Is it difficult or easy for him?

Ss: It’s difficult for him.

T: How does he feel?

2. 学生完成练习，然后师生一起核对答案。

  学生根据所给图片和文字信息，利用所学句型表达人物情绪。

3. 课件呈现更多的表示情绪的词汇，拓宽学生的知识面。
4. Exercise.( 根据句意和首字母提示，补全句子。)

小结：师生共同回顾本课时所学的情绪类的形容词及表达人物或动物

情绪的句型。

作业：1. 背诵Let’s learn部分的词汇。

2. 完成本课时对应的练习。

反思

课前播放歌曲“If you’re happy, clap your hands”，带领学生边做动作边跟唱，以此方式引入新课，调动了学生学习的积极性。课中利用图片展示、做游戏等多种教学方式，操练、巩固了本课时的重点词汇和句型。本课时取得了较好的教学效果。
