Guide Ss to look and guess who they are according to the pictures and descriptions.【设计意图】通过对前期所学的伟人的描述让学生热身且快速回顾的同时，导入本课所要介绍的人物袁隆平。Step 2 Pre-writingRead Part A on P32 and answer the questions. Then guide Ss to learn the writing skills about using because and so. Then ask Ss to make long sentences by using because and so.【设计意图】通过阅读，获取袁隆平的信息，进一步激发学生学习兴趣和积极性。Learn to analyze information to get the structure of the text.Finish Amy’s report.Work out Amy’s writing structure and then outline for writing about a famous person.【设计意图】通过对Amy作文结构的分析，由学生总结出文章层次及各层次的内容要求，做到结构清晰。接下来计划自己的作文，最崇拜的人物以及为什么崇拜他（她），学生有机会比较、使用各种复杂句、复合句，并学习添加适当信息使文章显得丰满，为后面的写作做铺垫。Step 3 While-writing1. 1. Self-edit their own writings according to the writing evaluation table. 2.
