Obtain the key information from listening.2. Talk about past and present about students’ friends and themselves.三、教学过程A  Changes in Starlight TownStep 1 Warming-upFree talk. Ask questions about Mr Chen and changes in Sunshine town.【设计意图】通过复习阳光镇的变化,激活学生已有知识,并通过这些已有知识引出新知,将学生带入课堂的话题情境中。Step 2 Pre-listening1. Look at the two pictures of Starlight Town and talk about them.【设计意图】通过看图引导学生说出birdshousestreesgreen hillsriver/lake,建构听前知识框架。2. Read Part A1 and Part A2, and try to make a guess. Then tell students the tips of catching the key words.【设计意图】让学生通过阅读图片和已有信息做听前猜测,这有助于他们快速捕捉信息。Step 3 While-listening1. Listen and complete Part A1(1) Read Part A1 and guess the missing words.(2) Listen to the recording and fill in the blanks. 2. Listen and complete Part A2 (1) Read Part A2 and guess the missing words.(2) Listen to the recording and fill in the blanks. Step 4 Post-listening1. Read A3 and complete the table. 【设计意图】采用任务型阅读的形式检测学生对文章内容的理解和掌握情况,在强化重点词汇运用能力的同时,也培养了学生信息转换的能力。B  Speak up: We haven’t seen each other since then.Step 1 Pre-listeningRead the passage and learn some new words.Starlight Town has changed a lot. Our lives have also changed. I have a friend called Lily who went abroad ten years ago. We haven’t seen each other for many years. To keep in touch with each other, we often communicate with them on the Internet. I know Lily has two children: her daughter is 18 years and she is studying at high school; her son is 10 years old and he is studying in a Primary school. Do you have any old friends living in different cities? How often do they return to visit you? When did you last see your friend? Do you think the Internet can make communication much easier? Exactly.【设计意图】通过星光镇的变化自然过渡到我们生活中的变化,教师叙述自己生活中的变化,并询问学生的情况,自然地引出对话中的生词,教师在叙述过程中板书用到的词汇引导学生在语境中辨认和理解词汇。Step 2 While-listening 1. Listen to Speak up and answer the following questions.(1) Where has Becky just returned from?(2) When did they last see each other?(3) How do they keep in touch with each other? 【设计意图】通过问题训练学生在听的过程中获取信息的能力,并帮助学生理解对话的基本含义。Step 4 Post-listening 1. Read the conversation in different ways.2. Work in pairs and tell partners about the changes in life. 【设计意图】引导学生用听力和对话中学到的知识来谈论实际生活,既实现有效输出也培养学生学以致用的能力。Step 4 Homework1. Find more changes around you.2. Write down your feeling about the changes.3. Preview Study skills.
