    Unit 5 Art world Reading (I)一、教学目标1. 掌握本课重点词汇及短语:boundary, medal, present, winner, composer, central, common, objectstone, musician, control, flow, successfully, traditional, bell, though, be famous for, dividing line2. 掌握本课重点句型:Since he had no musical instruments then, he made music with common objects like stones and paper.As a composer, perhaps he is best known for winning an Oscar for his music in the film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.As he likes the sounds of nature, Tan uses them a lot in his music. 3. 通过读,获取谭盾的音乐天赋及成就的信息。4. 分析谭盾的品质以及他对音乐无界限的理解。二、教学重点及难点重点:1. 指导学生在读中,获取谭盾的音乐天赋及成就的信息。2. 利用文本分析谭盾的品质以及他对音乐无界限的理解。难点:对谭盾的品质进行分析,并阐述对音乐无界限的理解。 三、教学过程Step 1 Warming-up1. Guide Ss to have a free talk.(1) What is your favourite music?(2) Who’s your favourite musician?设计意图】通过自由讨论,激发学生兴趣,并导入本节课的主题。2. Guide Ss to look at some pictures and ask them whether they know the man in the pictures.【设计意图】通过图片,引入阅读文章的主人公——谭盾。Step 2 Pre-readingGuide Ss to learn some key words.【设计意图】通过语段,带领学生学习课文中的重点词汇,为接下来的活动扫清词汇障碍。Step 3 While-readingGuide Ss to read the passage and match the paragraphs with main contents.设计意图】通过读文章,并进行段落大意匹配的活动,锻炼学生获取文章大意的能力。2. Guide Ss to read again and mark T (true) or F (false).设计意图】通过读文章,并完成判断正误的练习,帮助学生获取有关谭盾的关键信息,为后面介绍谭盾做准备。3. Guide Ss to read the first paragraph and answer questions.(1) When was the award music played at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games?(2) Is Tan Dun a world-famous actor?4. Guide Ss to read Paragraph 2 ~3 and fill in the blanks.5.
