Difficulties(难点):用比较级比较人与人的性格和外貌差别时is 和has的正确运用。
Teaching steps(教学步骤)
1. Warm-up and lead in(课堂热身和导入)
(1)Warm up (热身)
Befre class, the teacher will play the sng“Yu and Me” by Liu Huan. Liu Huan is a ppular judge in the shw Vice f China s students shuld be very interested in him.
T: Let’s listen t the sng tgether. D yu knw wh sang the sng?
S: Yes! It’s Liu Huan!
Shw Ss a picture f Liu Huan.
T: What des he lk like? Des he have shrt hair?
Ss: N, he has lng hair.
(教师赶快把lng, shrt分别写到黑板的不同部位以示意思相反)
(2)Lead in(导入)
T: Can yu tell me hw yur friend/mther/father lk like.
S1: My mther has lng hair.
S2: I’m quiet.
S3: My friend is very utging.
(老师引导鼓励学生用尽可能多的形容词,教师按照事先的分类一一写到黑板上)
教学设计说明:从已知的知识复习开始热身,激活学生原有的关于形容词和副词的知识,归类反义词并引入新词utging, quiet,为接下来的内容打下基础。

Ss may say there are three pairs f twins. Tina and Tara, Sam and Tm, Paul and Peter.
T: Yes, that’s right! There are three pairs f twins. Listen and number the pairs f twins in the picture.
After listening, have Ss shw their answers.
Listen again and have Ss repeat after the tape tgether.
