Unit 5 Do you want to watch a game show?The Second Period Section A ( 2a–Grammar Focus & 3b-3c) Teaching aims(教学目标)1. 能够用不同的词或者词组表达自己的爱好。
2. 能够清晰的表达自己爱好的理由和计划。3. 能够清晰的用不同的词语表达自己的计划。Language points(语言点)要求掌握以下句式:What do you plan/want/expect to watch tonight ? I plan/want/expect to watch … 2.要求掌握以下词汇: 1) 名词n. joke, comedy, discussion2) 动词v. happen, expect, may, find out(本节课的生词较少,而且单词的拼写比较简单,所以学生学起来不会感到困难,如果班级学生的水平较高,可以鼓励学生当堂掌握。)Difficulties(难点):掌握want /hope/plan/expect 引导的不定式做宾语表达计划。熟练表达自己的爱好的理由。Teaching steps(教学步骤)Warm-up and revision(课堂热身和复习)Revision (通过自由阅读并完成对话来复习上节课中学到的表自己爱好的词语,自然过渡到下面的听力环节) 2. Work on 2a. T: What do Lin Hui and Sally think of TV shows? Listen to Lin Hui and Sally’s conversation. Number the TV shows [1-5】 in the order you hear them. (教师通过听力感知表达自己喜好的理由的表达方法以及表达角度.教师可以四处走动,以帮助学生校对,也可以让学生发挥peer assessment的作用)S: …3. Work on 2b.T: Listen again. Complete the sentences. (这个环节可以让学生再一次感知听力材料和训练听力技能,并且有助于提高听力技巧,比如速记法等。)4. Work on 2c.Have Ss look at 2a and ask and answer questions about the TV shows. Encourage them to use information that is true.Have some pairs come to the front and present their questions and answers to the class. 5.
