教材分析:本单元以周末活动为话题、以谈论过去发生的事情为功能,主要复习“一般过去时态的用法”,本节课是本单元的第一节课,是一节听说课。重点学习以下内容:询问他人上周末的活动;准确表达自己上周末的活动并作出评价。然后进行目标句的迁移应用:Where did they go?They went to… ,Who did they/he/she/you visit? They/He/She/I visited…。在利用目标句训练的同时,也对重点短语进行了充分的运用练习。
学情分析:学生在上一个单元已初步认识和使用了一般过去时态,因此本单元用一般过去时态谈论他人和自己的上周末的活动将很易于上口。初一学段的学生,活泼好动,好奇心强烈。所以通过播放中外各国人们周末活动的图片,将学生们自然带入色彩斑斓,丰富多彩的周末活动这一情境中,再以学生为中心,通过小组合作,角色扮演,任务激励,合作探究等多种教学活动。定能激发学生学习的积极性,让不同层次的学生都能参与,获得成就感。
一、教学目标:

六、教学过程
一. Warming-up and revision
(一).Point to the previous Saturday and Sunday on a wall calendar and say, Saturday and Sunday are the weekend. This is last weekend. Then tell some things the teacher did last weekend for example,“I did some washing over the weekend. ” Use quick sketches (in the board along with gestures to demonstrate the meaning of each activity.
(二).Flash many different pictures about colourful weekend activities along with the music “COUNTRY ROAD”
<设计意图>随着美国乡村音乐<COUNTRY ROAD>的欢快节奏,屏幕上不断闪现中外各地人们欢度周末的场景。让学生在轻松愉悦的氛围中走入新课,同时扩展了学生对于周末活动的思路,为接下来关于周末活动的讨论做好铺垫。
(三).A guessing game
Ask students to guess what I did last weekend according to the pictures on the screen by using one of the target sentences“Did you +V+…?”
<设计意图>根据图片及图片下方词组提示来猜测老师上周末的活动。(猜测对时会播放掌声,错时会有爆炸声。)不但能激发学生的学习兴趣,同时复习“Did you +V+…?”,“Yes,I did.I +V-ed/NO,I didn’t .”和“cleaned the room,washed the clothes,flew kites,went fishing,read books,rode a horse”等短语。帮助学生清除本单元的一些学习障碍。
(四).Brain storming
Ask students to have a talk about the activities that they did last weekend using“what did you do last weekend?” “I + V-ed”to make dialogues.then ask several pairs to show their conversations in front of class.(write down the activities on the blackboard)
<设计意图>12单元是上个单元《How was your school trip?》的延续,通过复习一般过去时的句型,能够帮助学生清除本单元的一些学习障碍,同时以头脑风暴的方式,可让学生尽可能的大量的练习所学过的动词或动词短语或词组的过去式。为进一步的学习奠定基础。
二. 1a introducing the key vocabulary.
(一).Focus attention on the picture. Ask students to tell what they see. Name each activity and ask students to repeat: did my homework, went to the cinema, went boating, camped by the lake, went to the beach, played badminton.
(二).Point out the numbered list of activities. Say each one again and ask students to repeat.
(三).Then ask students to match each activity with one of the pictures. Say, Write the letter of each activity next to the words. Point out the sample answer.Check the answers.
<设计意图>在学习新单词的同时,突破重难点,强调动词的过去形式,图片的展示使得难点的突破来得轻松易接受。与学生的互动--图片字母连接,使得课堂的交互性进一步提高。
三. Listening practice(Work on 1b)
This activity gives students practice in understanding the target language in spoken conversation.
(一).Point to the activities in the picture in activity la. Ask students to tell what the person did in each picture. For example, she played badminton, or Lucy went to the cinema. Play the recording the first time. Students only listen.
(二).Play the recording a second time. This time say: Listen to the recording and write the days and times Lucy did each thing under the pictures. Point out the sample answer under the picture of Lucy playing badminton; on Saturday morning.
(三).Correct the answers.
<设计意图> 图片的直观性能引起学生的共鸣。通过听力内容的播放,逐步引导学生认识本单元的重点句型,掌握不规则动词的过去式。
四. Pair work (Work on 1c)
(一).Point to the example conversation. Ask two students to read the dialogue to the class.(This activity provides guided oral practice using the target language.)
1.Say, now work with a partner. Student A, pretend to be Lucy. Student B, ask questions about what Lucy did on different days and times over the weekend. Talk about the activities in the picture.(Students work in pairs. As they are talking, move around the room monitoring their work. Offer language or pronunciation support as needed.)
<设计意图> 由于此前的1a和1b活动中已积累了一些句子,因此操练对话能帮助学生进一步掌握目标语言。同时,通过模仿语音语调,使学生的口语能力有更原汁原味的折射。
五. Practicing: What did these people do last weekend?
(Show pictures on the screen,some of which are full of sense of humour.)
(一).Point to the pictures and ask students to fill in the blanks next to the pictures.(This activity gives students practice in understanding the target vocabulary and sentences.
<设计意图>通过幽默的图片,让学生在愉快的笑声中,在图片的帮助下更好的理解词汇,并帮助学生在运用基本目标句型(What did you do last weekend?I +Ved)的基础上,迁移句型:Where did they go?They went to…,Who did they/he/she/you visit?They/He/She/I visited…
六.Show time
(一).Divide students into six groups.Every group should finish an interview task. Then act out(表演)the dialogues.
参考句型:

Task5:Interview several foreign(外国) visitors about their last weekend activities.
Task6:Interview several parents about their last weekend activities.
<设计意图>此任务表演活动的目的在于让学生在模拟的实际情境中通过说来活学活用所学词汇句型,进一步体会如何利用一般过去时态谈论过去所发生的事。鼓励学生勇于开口、大胆表演,实现语言由输入到输出的目的。
七. Review(ask students to sum up what they learned in this class in groups)

注:1.动词的过去式无人称及数的变化。2.助动词did出现时,谓语动词恢复原形。
<设计意图>让学生自行整理重点句型,并通过此句型,总结出一般过去时态的使用要点。巩固并加深一般过去时的应用。

十一、教学反思:
本节课是本单元的第一节课,是一节听说课,通过让学生猜测老师上周末的活动(配以图片)导入新课。学生们兴趣很高,同时复习了一般过去时态的一般疑问句型“Did you +V+…?”,“Yes,I did.I +V-ed/NO,I didn’t .”练习了有关周末活动的短语。利用学生们对别人如何过周末的好奇心,播放中外各国人们周末活动的图片,在美国乡村音乐欢快的节奏中,将全体学生带入色彩斑斓,丰富多彩的周末活动中,气氛热烈而轻松。通过头脑风暴让学生们列举出自己上周末的活动,复习动词过去式,动词短语为下面的对话练习打基础。再通过图片辅助直观学习目标词组,通过听力练习,巩固学习如何表述过去发生的事情。小组练习目标句(询问对方的上周末活动)训练了学生说的能力及增进相互了解。再通过幽默或可爱的图片和辅助句式在欢声笑语中让学生进行目标句的迁移应用:Where did they go?They went to… ,Who did they/he/she/you visit?They/He/She/I visited…。我认为表演环节是本节课的一大亮点。将学生分为6组。完成6项采访任务,分别采访自己的老师、自己喜爱的明星、农民、外国游客,及家长的周末活动。学生的表现精彩迭出,对目标句型及词汇进行了灵活的应用,听说能力,包括写(学生准备中都写下自己发言内容)的能力都得训练。期间笑声不断,有些小组的采访表演充满喜感。所用句型词汇丰富,超越了预期情况。让教师有惊喜感。最后学生总结本节课要点。
本节课环节联系紧密,过渡自然。时间分配上有点紧。但最大的收获是:教师看到了孩子们身上的创造力和想象了,很精彩。让教师理会到只要给学生舞台,以学生为主体,充分发挥其主观能动性,学生就会尽可能的发挥,回报以精彩!甚至惊喜!
