Observatins recrded thrugh eOceans are already prviding valuable insights. During Australia’s lckdwn, fr example, the largest swarm f turtles in the cuntry’s histry was sptted by researchers using eOceans data.
And in Hawaii, data frm the app suggests that a reductin in turists during the pandemic is assciated with clearer waters.

Althugh mst adults have already been expsed t influenza C, the researchers say we might have little immunity against a new strain that jumps back t humans after mutating in animals. Fr a letter published in the Jurnal f Infectin, the scientists state it shws that viruses shuld be tracked mre thrughly in dgs and ther pets thrugh regular testing and sequencing. But the researchers say it and ther viruses shuld be mnitred carefully t stp any disease strains frm emerging. A gd place t start wuld be Kennels and similar places where viruses can easily spread and evlve. “If yu are farming animals at high density,” says University f Nttingham virlgist Janet Daly, “that’s where yu need t lk.”

C. They are mre likely t transmit frm dgs t dgs.
D. The flu virus disappears after peple pass it t pets.
14. What can we learn frm the last paragraph?

B. The virus wn’t emerge as lng as it is ften mnitred by researchers.
C. The influenza C is a big prblem t bth animals and human beings.
D. It is easy t stp viruses frm spreading amng animals in a gd place.
