7. It was wonderful at first, but then there was heavy rain.一开始很精彩，但是后来下了一场大雨。

三、语法:

1.一般过去时的各种句型转换：

一般疑问句结构为：Did + 主语 + 动词原形+ …？其肯定回答：Yes, … did. 否定回答：No, … didn’t.

 如: A: Did you catch any fish?    B: Yes, I did./No, I didn’t.

句式训练：将下列句子改为一般疑问句。

1）My father went fishing last Saturday. 

2）We flew kites in the park last weekend. 

3）He played football yesterday. 

4）They picked some oranges on Sunday. 

5）An old man lived in the house.

6）The king was very angry.

特殊疑问句结构：特殊疑问词 + did + 主语 + 动词原形 + …？

如：A: Where did you go for the holiday?  B: I went to a farm.  (问地点)

A: What did you do for the holiday?  B: I visited the Shanghai Museum.  (问事情)

A: Why did you call me?    B: Because I wanted to give you the fish.  (问原因)

A: How was your holiday?     B: It was great fun.  (问感受)

句式训练：将划线部分提问。

1）I went to school by bike this morning.  

2) The weather was rainy.

3) The old man lived in the forest.

4) The boy looked sad because he lost his new kite.

5) I found the kite near the hill.

6) I did the housework on Saturday.

2.本单元的不规则动词过去式

come – came,  do – did,  go – went,  see – saw,  catch – caught,  eat – ate,  get – got, 

give – gave,  have – had,  wear – wore,  meet – met

3.口诀

一般过去时并不难，过去动作、状态记心间。动词要用过去式，时间状语句末站。

否定句很简单，didn't 站在动原前，其它部分不要变。

一般疑问句也好变，did放在句子前，主语、动原、其它部分依次站立。

特殊疑问句也简单，疑问词加一般疑问句记心间。

最后一条请注意，动词过去式要牢记！

4.the的用法：本单元重在讲述travel experiences(旅游经历)，旅游景点都是唯一的，作为唯一性的名词前均须加上the。如：the Bund, the Shanghai Museum, the Great Wall, the Palace Museum, the Summer Palace. 但Tian’anmen Square前是不加the的。

5. I wanted to give you the fish.  我想把鱼给你。

     want to do sth.  想做某事

如：My father wants to clean the car this afternoon.  我爸爸想今天下午清洗汽车。

     give sb. sth = give sth to sb  给某人某物，把某物给某人

如：Did you give the book to Su Hai? = Did you give Su Hai the book?  你把书给苏海了吗？

四、语音

Use falling intonation(使用降调)一般情况下，陈述句使用降调。
