七年级英语(下)第6单元第4课时Unit 6 I’m watching TV.3a—Self Check 一、【教材分析】 教学目标 目标1. 复习巩固掌握本课出现的生词及表达方式。2. 进一步练习运用现在进行时态的句子来描述他人在做的事情。3. 通过不同形式的练习,提高学生们综合运用所学知识的能力。 能力目标1. 通过练习学会总结知识体系和归纳语言运用规律。2. 通过补充短文、写短文等方式来锻炼和提高学生的写作能力。3. 在情景对话的提问过程中,主要训练学生运用现在进行时态的能力和语言综合运用能力情感目标培养同学间的友好相处,规范自己的行为,同时能提高他们的观察能力和判断能力,激发他们对学习英语的兴趣和热情,在接近生活常态的交际中能乐于模仿,敢于开口,积极参与,主动请教。了解中西方文化的不同,具有世界观念,了解其他国家的文化。 教学重点1. 能根据相关提示词来描述他人正在做的事情。2. 能运用自己所学的知识来描述一些正在发生的事情。3. 通过做不同形式的练习来熟练运用本单元所学的知识。 教学难点运用自己所学的相关知识来描述正在发生的事情。 教学方法情境教学法;任务型教学法。二、【教学流程】环节师生活动二次备课I. 复习 热身Step I. Warming- up and revision1. Show some pictures and review how to turn a verb into Present Progressive Tense. 2. Show some pictures and ask several students to make sentences by using Present Progressive Tense. StepⅡ. Presentation1. Tell something about Zhu Hui. T: Look! This is some photos about Zhu Hui. Zhu Hui is a student from Shenzhen. He’s studying in the United States. He’s living with an American family. Today is Dragon Boat Festival. It’s nine a.m. Zhu Hui’s family are at home. His mom and aunt are making zongzi. His dad and uncle are watching the boat races on TV. It’s nine p.m. in New York and it’s the night before the festival. But there isn’t a Dragon Boat Festival in the US. It’s just like any other night for Zhu Hui. The mother is reading a story to her children. The father is watching a soccer game on TV. Zhu Hui is talking on the phone to his cousin in Shenzhen.2. Work in groups. Try to tell something about Zhu Hui by yourselves. Ask some students to show her story. Ⅱ.感知体验 Step I. Writing 1. Let’s look at Jim’s family photo and read his letter to Bob. Try to fill in the blanks. 2. 写作指导:先看所给的图片提示,明白每个人正做的事情。其次,通读全文,确定应该写的人物。可知,Jim的父母亲正在看电视;他的爷爷正在读报纸;她的妹妹正在和朋友打电话。最后,运用现在进行时态写出正确的句子。注意句子结构:be (am, is , are) + V. –ing 形式,,特别是be动词的恰当形式。3. 学生们按老师的指导意见,阅读、看图画并补全信件的内容。4. 相互交换信件,并检测有没有错误。让几名同学读自己的短文,给同学们做一个例子。 Ⅲ.强化巩固 Step I. Practice 1. T: OK. Yesterday, I asked you to take a photo of your family to school. Have you got it? (Students take out their photos.) 2. Now work with your partners. Ask and answer about the pictures. 3. Students work in pairs. Ask and answer about the pictures as S1 and S2 did. 4. Let some pairs ask and answer their photos. 5. Write your passage on the paper and show some of them.6. Look at the pictures. Choose some of the photos and write another article.StepⅡ. Self Check 1 1. Look at the chart and try to understand what it means.2. Ask the students to find some words they have learned in this unit and fill in the blanks. 3. Ask students to make sentences using the words.4. Explain how to turn a verb into Present Progressive Tense. Give some rule of it. Show some more words. Ⅳ.实践应用Step I. Self Check 2 1. Students A and B are talking about what they are doing now. Read the conversation and write questions with the help of the words in the bracket. 2. Students read the conversation and try to make questions with the help of the words in the bracket.3. Check the answers with the class. 4. Have students role-play the conversation. Ⅴ.总结反馈本节课通过各种复习手段,对所学知识进行系统而全面的复习和巩固,不仅使学生掌握所学知识,更重要的是灵活运用的能力;同时教授学生了解一些有效的学习策略。 Ⅵ.作业布置1. Remember how to add “–ing” to a verb.2. Let's play soccer.What is Tony doing? Is Steve studying, too? 四、【教后反思】 本节课的重点是集中整体性地复习了现在进行时态的用法,并引领学生自觉主动地归纳总结知识点的系统性复习。在课上学生的求知欲被激发出来了,通过一系列活动提升了学生的语言表达能力,思维能力,写作能力等等。同时培养了学生的合作意识和团队精神。
