Unit 11 Who was first? 【第一课时】【教学目标】I. 语言目标:1．词汇:能听懂、会说、认读新单词came, went, sat, stood, ran, sang, meter, race, sports, first, second, third, last;能听懂、认读新单词cheered, wanted．2．句型:能用“Who was first?”、“Mary was first.”描述顺序;能用新学的单词对过去发生的事情做简单的描述.II. 应用目标:1．能用序数词描述顺序,能在特定的场合正确运用序数词.2．能用已学动词的过去式对过去发生的事情做简单的描述.3．能听懂、会说A部分的对话.【教学重难点】1．重点:能用“Who was first?”、“Mary was first”描述顺序;能用新学的单词对过去发生的事情作简单的描述.2．难点:序数词中th的发音;理解在描述过去发生的事情时,come, go, sit, stand, run, sing有不规则的变化,相应地应该使用came, went, sat, stood, ran, sang,并能基本掌握这些单词的正确发音并加以应用.【教学准备】录音机、教学音频、有关图标的卡片、教学图片或多媒体课件.【教学过程】I. 热身/复习(Warm-up/ Revision)1．Sing a song and say some chants.2．Free talk.T: What day is it today?S1: Today is Monday.T: When's your birthday?S1: It's on the fifth of May....T: When's Children's Day?...让学生说说自己的生日是哪一天,以及节日的时间,以复习已学过的序数词.II. 新课呈现(Presentation1)1．Elicit the ordinal number.T: Look, I have a pack of poker.
