I went to... . Did you go to... ?Yes, I did./No,I didn’t.”Difficult point:  Students can use the useful expressions in a real situation.Teaching aids:   Word cards.   PPT.Teaching Procedures:Step1.Warm-up   Greetings.   Sing a song“Tell me about holiday”.   Free talk.(设计意图:提供一个使用语言的机会,鼓励学生大胆开口,同时为新授课做好准备。)Step2.Presentation   Through the ask and answer session to elicit the new sentence“Where did you go...?”T:Can you guess?Where did I go last Labour Day holiday?  Show pictures and guess.    Through the ask and answer to teach new words and phrases:mule,Turpanrode a horse,fell off my bike and hurt my foot.  T:What did I do in Inner Mongolia?  Ss:Rode a horse.  T:I rode a horse,but the horse is very small.The small horse looks like a mule.(设计意图:学生已经初步了解Where did you go?的句型,接着学习了课文中的动词短语,用Did you go to...?让学生回答。初步了解过去时的一般疑问句句式。为下面的对话及后面的学习做铺垫。)   See a video about Xinjiang.   Let’s try.      Listen and tick or cross.      Check the answers.(设计意图:本部分意在让学生完成规定的听力任务,让学生对后面将要出现的对话进行了一定的情境铺垫。)   Let’s talk  T:John hurt his foot.Why?What happened to John?After school,Amy was still worried about John.She went to John’s home.What are they talk about?(设计意图:本部分意在学习课文前的热身,感知对话整体大概内容。)1Listen and answer.           Where did John go over the holiday?   When did John go?   What did John do?           Did John eat grapes?Why?(设计意图:本部分让学生听听力及回答问题的形式,深入了对话的学习,熟知了对话的大意,并对短文的内容及结构有了一定的了解。)2Listen and repeat.3Read together.4Role-play5Act the dialog.6.Circle the past form.7.Let’s chant.Step 3 Consolidation&Extention1.Pair work:Talk about your holiday in your group like this:A:Where did you go over the holiday?B:I went to ...
