Get students to enjoy a short video and try to talk about what they are doing. Help students to predict today’s lesson. Greeting Enjoy a video.Creating context. 讲授新课Teaching the new lesson新课呈现(Presentation) To show a map and ask students to help a confused boy. Ask and answer to lead students say out the public areas by helping the boy. To show the writing about the public areas and get students to remember. Get students to read the title of 1a and make sure everyone can know what they may want to do. Read the phrases together and choose the suitable places. Check the answer together and give the reasons for each answer. 听力训练(Listening)Before listening Get students to read the picture and the dialogue.Try to predict the main idea of listening material. Help students to look at the picture and circle some places for knowing the directions.While listening Play the tapes for the first time for getting the main idea without doing any exercise.. Play the second time,students listen and write down the missing words in the dialogue. Give some pauses if necessary. Ask two groups of students to show their answers,others listen and check together.Listen again for finish the tasks on the blackboard.Explain some difficult words and phrases and translate the conversation into Chinese.5.Play the tapes for the last time,students read after the tape for correct pronunciation.After listening To show some different arrows and lead students to say out the phrases for directions. To show several pictures and get students say the correct directions. Explain the function structures about how to ask ways in polite. 对话练习(Pair work) Get students to read the dialogue in 1c and read it together. Explain the meaning for students. Get students to talk about our town by using this pattern in groups. Ask several groups to act out their dialogue in front of the class. 小结及复习(Summary & Revision) To list the words and phrases about the function of public areas. Match the names with the functions. To learn some words and phrase about public areas. Listen and finish the task in books.Practicing listening skills. Collect some useful expressions and learn new language. Make dialogue and practice function structures. Read and match. Prepare vocabularies. Practice listening skills and help students to remember new words and phrases. Review and summary.
