一、教学背景分析
1.教学内容分析
教材选自人教新版PEP六年级英语上册Unit2 Ways to go to school Part A let’s talk.本节课内容主要分为let’s try, let’s talk两个部分。在本节课学习之前,学生已经学习了部分交通工具名称以及句型how can we get there?学生对出行方式的读音、how句型的运用已经有所掌握。本节课的学习体现了教材循序渐进、由易到难的编排构思,又符合学生的知识水平和认知水平,在本教材中有承上启下的作用。
2.学情分析
小学六年级的学生经过三年多的英语学习,已经认识了bike, train, car等交通工具名称以及 walk, on foot 等出行方式。他们有很强的好奇心和求知欲,有一定的观察能力,自主探究和合作学习的能力。学生通过学习本节课的内容,可以让他们学会在实际情境中利用所学单词与句子在真实情境中交流。
二、教学内容框架设计
教学目标
- 知识目标
词汇: 学生能在语境中理解生词often、sometimes、usually等以及短语on foot\by train\by bike\by subway \by taxi\by bus\by plane\by ship意思,能正确认读出行方式的短语。
句型:能够正确听说朗读“How do you come to school?”询问别人的出行方式,并能够用句子“I come by…进行回答。
2. 能力目标
(1)学生能够听懂,会说,会表演Let’s talk的内容,并在真实场景中交流和运用。
(2)学生能够在图片提示下仿照对话询问他人出行方式并与同学交流。
3.情感态度与价值观:培养学生合作、分享与竞争的学习意识,使学生养成敢于开口不怕出错的习惯。
教学重点
1. 学生能够正确听说认读以下生词:often、sometimes、usually等以及短语on foot\by train\by bike\by subway \by taxi\by bus\by plane\by ship等。
2. 学生能够正确听说朗读“How do you come to school?”询问别人的出行方式,并能够用句子“I come by…进行回答。
教学难点
学生能够在真实的语境中运用How do you come to school?句型以及出行方式进行交流。

四、教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
1. Greeting.
T: I’m very happy to meet you here, so I come to school early today. Guess how does Miss Chen come to school? By bus or by car or…Can you guess?
Ss: …
T: Yes, I come by taxi. But I usually come to school by bus. What about you? How do you come to school?
Ss: …
2. 复习:出示地点图问How can we get there?——出示国家地图问How can we get there?由上单元的方向进入本节课交通工具的学习。
T: Today we are going to learn something about the transportations. (课题公布)
3. Let’s chant: 《How do you go to school?》,回答: How do you go to school , What transportations do you here?
Step2 Presentation and practice
1. 呈现课文插图——Let’s try
T: Look at the picture. How does Mike go to school?
Ss: By bike.
T: Where are Mike and Amy?
Ss: At school.
T: Yes, they are at the school now. so in this sentences“How do you go to school?” we can change it to “How do you come to school?”板书句型并教读。
T: Look at the picture,Amy meets Mike at school this morning. 呈现Let’s try部分——听音回答①Where are they going next Wednesday? (They are going to the nature park next Wednesday. )
②How do they get there? (by bus) ③Listen and tick or cross.练习。
T: Let’s have a look at the text. Read it together.
2. Let’s talk
(1) 听对话回答问题。Mrs Smith is coming towards them now(通过Let’s try可知). What are they talking about? Listen and tell me how does Mrs Smith come to school? Don’t forget to take some notes.
(2) Listen and follow, then check——教读sometimes, usually, by car, walk,使学生在文中领悟其意思。
(3)对话细节理解How do Mike and Amy come to school?学生两两合作阅读短文,找出答案。——教学句型How do you come to school?及其回答。
(4)全班读对话,T补充说明频度副词often、sometimes、usually高低顺序。
(5) 分组角色扮演对话——T与Ss示范表演——四人小组表演对话
Step3 Consolidation
1.Look and say.根据出示的图片迅速说出出行方式,使学生了解什么情况选用什么出行方式,并且明白by+交通工具,意味着乘坐某种交通工具等。
2.pair work:①How do you come to school?
Step4 Extension
1.T: How do you go to Beijing/ Yunnan/ Hedong/ Nanning/ Dalian?( How do you get there?)学生举手回答。
2. group work:利用句型How do you go to ____?传递式询问同伴去某地的出行方式。
Step5 Summary
引导学生看板书回顾本节课要点。
Step 6 Homework
利用句型“ How do you go to work ?”询问家里人是如何去上班的,把他们的回答记录下来,下节课与同学们分享交流。
