在复合句中用来修饰一个名词或者代词的从句叫做定语从句。

在下列情况下只用thatA. 当先行词是everything, anything, nthing, all, nne, few, little,sme等不定代词时，或当先行词由every, any, all, sme, n, little, few, much等词修饰时。e.g. Tny tld his mm all that had happened.B. 先行词前有序数词或形容词最高级修饰时。e.g. My teacher’s first idl that he met is Gu Degang.

whse的用法 意为“.…..的……”，先行词与定语从句的主语是所属关系时用whse①The rm whse dr is pen is new.②The girl whse father wrks in hspital is my cusin.
关系代词的省略 一般情况下，关系代词作宾语可省略，但有介词位于关系代词和先行词之间时，不能省略关系代词。 This is the sng (that) I like. I’ll never frget the day n which I jined the music club.

在复合句中作定语，修饰主句中某一名词或代词的从句，叫作定语从句。被定语从句所修饰的词叫先行词，通常位于定语从句之前。引导定语从句的关联词称为关系词。含定语从句的复合句的基本结构为：先行词＋关系词＋定语从句。关系词有关系代词和关系副词。关系代词有that，which，wh，whm，whse等；关系副词有where，when，why等。
