Key vocabulary:    where,table, bed, bookcase, sofa, chair, on, under, come, desk, think, room, their, hat, head...   where's =where is, in your school bag, under your bed,come on...2. Key sentences: a. -Where's my pencil box? -It's in your schoolbag.b. -Where are my books? -They are on the sofa.教学难点: The usage of prepositions. 教学过程(表格描述)教学环节主要教学活动设置意图Step 1Warming-up(PPT 4-9)Have a free talk about your house. Do you know what’s in my house?Let’s go into the house.Learn the new words and read them. Lead in 1a. 用轻松愉快的问候热身并用图片中的物品学习新单词。Step 2Lead-in(PPT 10-18)Work on 1a. 1.Ask Ss to read the words in 1a.2. Make Ss match the words with the things in the picture by themselves3.Call some Ss to read their answers.4. Ask Ss to have a spelling competition. 图片单词连线并阅读它们,然后通过游戏熟练掌握这些单词。Step 3Listening&Pair work(PPT 19-25) Work on 1b,1c.Play the tape of 1b for Ss to listen and number the things in the picture[1-4]. Check answers.Make Ss listen again and complete the conversation.Check answers and read the conversation.Have Ss practice the conversation in 1a with their partners. Then make their own conversations using the words in the box.A: Where’s the schoolbag?B: It’s in /on/under the table. Role-play. Ask Ss to look at the pictures and say the English names of the things.2.Play the tape of 2a for Ss to listen and number the things[1-6]. 3. Call some Ss to give their answers.4. Play the tape for Ss to listen again. Find the things from 2a and number them in the picture[1-6].5. Check answers.6. Work in pairs. Look at the pictures and make conversations.Where is …? It’s …Where are …? They’re…7. Work on 2c. Ask and answer questions about the things in the picture in 2b.8. Ss look at the picture and describe the place of things to group members. 听听力,小组合作练习重点句型Where’s/ Where’re …?。这是本单元的教学重点。通过此处的练习使学生熟练对方位进行提问以及表达方位的形式。Step 5 Role-play   (PPT 32-34) Work on 2d. 1.Play the tape of 2d for Ss to repeat.2. Ask Ss to work in pairs to role-play the conversation.3.Call some pairs to present in class.4.Make Ss work in pairs to practice.  A: Where’s/ Where’re the…? B: It’s/ They’re in/on/under/…  通过角色扮演练习重点句型,增加趣味性,使学生能够在练口语时更熟练掌握方位介词以及对位置的提问。Step 6 Language Points(PPT 35-48) Explain and have Ss read the language points.  in, on, under, where.2. Have Ss practice the points.讲解本单元的语言点 in, on, under, where,强调方位介词和对地点进行提问,并练习。Step 7Summary(PPT 49)1. Ask the sts to summarize the LPS: What’s in your room?  Do you remember these words?bed, sofa, chair, table, room.2.How to ask and answer the place of things?培养学生认真听课和学会总结的重难点的习惯,并且对他们总结的知识进行评价,以此引导孩子们学会听课,学会总结和概括。Step 8 Exercises(PPT 50- 52) Do some exercises to practice the prepositions and where- question.通过翻译词组、单项选择、翻译句子等形式练习所学的知识点。Step 9中考链接(PPT 53)  Practice the usage of their.提供中考真题,让学生熟练their的用法。Step 10Homework(PPT 54)1.Remember the words and conversations we learned today.2.Describe your room and the place of things, write 5-10 sentences.该项作业主要是练习本节课所学的知识点,通过句子书写达到复习巩固的目的板书设计Unit 4 Wheres my schoolbag?Section A (1a-2d)  where's =where is, in your school bag, under your bed.1. -Where's my pencil box?  -It's in your schoolbag.  2. -Where are my books?  -They are on the sofa.教学反思课时重点学习介词表示方位,这是本单元的重难点,因此应该重点练习。首先应该从口语练习,强调地点短语中的定冠词the的用法,因为学生表达起来容易漏掉。
