As a teenager, when my family tk a vacatin, I wrte pstcards t shw my friends the new places I had explred. I cnsidered pstcards as simply a way t share travels until I came acrss my grandmther's pstcard album.
It was a dark gray leather album, where mst f the pstcards had pictures that did nt reflect a hliday r a travel destinatin. Instead, the ntes were mstly invitatins t a dinner party r a walk the next day.

Yet, even as the lckdwns end, I will cntinue t send them pstcards because everyne enjys receiving a real letter in the mail.
