Step 1 Review
Briefly recap what the students learned in the last unit, such as shopping and animals.
Step 2 Leading in
1. Show four pictures about seasons and ask the students to match the pictures with the seasons.

Step 3 Presentation
1. Teach the new words Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday by asking the question “What day is it?”

What day is...? 是一个询问星期几的句型。回答时可用It is…。

2. How is the weather? 天气怎么样？
　How is the weather? 是一个询问天气的句型，意为“天气怎么样？”，回答时常用“It’s+表示天气的形容词”。
—How is the weather today? 今天天气怎么样？
—It’s sunny. 今天天气晴朗。

What is the weather like?也是一个用来询问天气的句型。
—What is the weather like in summer? 在夏天天气怎么样？
—It’s very hot. 天气很炎热。
3. I love green grass and rainy days. 我喜欢绿油油的草和下雨的日子。
　rainy形容词，意为“多雨的”。

—How is the weather in Beijing? 北京天气怎么样？
—It’s rainy. 在下雨。

4. Let’s play outside and have a good time.咱们在外面玩个痛快吧。
　(1) outside此处用作副词，意为“在外面”，反义词是inside。
My grandparents often walk outside.
　我的爷爷奶奶经常在外面散步。

　outside和inside还可以用作介词。
　The children are playing outside the classroom.
孩子们正在教室外面玩耍。
(2) have a good time意为“玩得高兴”，good可用great, nice, wonderful等形容词代替。
　We are having a good time in Qingdao.现在我们正在青岛玩得开心。

　have fun和enjoy oneself也表示“玩得开心，过得愉快”，相当于have a good time。
　I have fun at weekends. = I enjoy myself at weekends.在周末我玩得很开心。
5. Let’s go skating, just you and me.咱们去滑冰吧，就你和我。
go skating意为“去滑冰”。在英语中，“go+动词-ing”通常表示进行某种运动或娱乐消遣。
