Step 1 Lead-in （导入）

自由对话，用复习的方式导入新课：

T：What’s your favorite subject ?

S: My favorite subject is art.

T: Why do you like art ?

S: Because it’s interesting.

Step 2 Self-study (自主学习)

1. 学生自学Grammar Focus。
2. 思考特殊疑问句：

特殊疑问句：是以特殊疑问词开头，提出疑问的句子，也称wh-问句。

构成： 特殊疑问词 + 一般疑问句
注意：若疑问词作主语，特殊疑问句的语序则用陈述句语序。如：

 1）What’s his favorite food?       他最喜欢的食物是什么? 

 2）Who is your English teacher?     谁是你的英语老师?
   My English teacher is Ms. Li.     我的英语老师是李老师。

 3）Where is your schoolbag?        你的书包在哪里?
   It’s on the desk.               在书桌上。

 4）Why do you like basketball?      你为什么喜欢打篮球?
   Because it’s fun.               因为有趣。

 5）When is your brother’s birthday?  你弟弟的生日是什么时候?
   It’s on September 15th.          9月15日。 

 6）How are you?               你好吗？
   I’m fine, thanks.               很好，谢谢。

 7）How old is your cousin?          你表妹多大了？           8）How much are the pears?     这梨多少钱?  

 9）How much rice do you want?  你想要多少米饭?

 10）How many pens do you need? 你要几支钢笔?  

Step 3 Cooperation & Presentation (合作探究与展示)

1、学生唱星期歌，学习星期一到星期日七个单词

2、熟读这七个单词，在此教师可以适当的给予拓展知识，让大家了解这七个星期日的由来和故事

3、角色扮演，学生熟读2d

4、找两位学生进行角色扮演

5、翻译重点的词句，进行解释说明

6、学生根据2d的内容，用所学的内容编造自己的对话，然后进行展示

7、完成3a的练习，加深对这几个特殊疑问词的理解

8、完成3b的练习，进一步运用特殊疑问句进行提问

9、完成3c，采访自己的同学并完成表格，让学生进行展示。

Step 4 Expansion and Promotion (拓展提升)

1、play with sth./sb.  玩某物/与某人玩，play意为“玩，玩耍”，如：

     Kate likes to play with her dog after school. 卡特喜欢放学后和她的狗一起玩。

     She often plays with her children in the garden. 她经常和孩子们在花园里玩。

2、on Friday 在周五。“星期几”为具体的某一天，因此前面用介词on。如：
  on Saturday  在星期六  on Sunday 在星期天
    但当星期名称前有 this, that, next, last 等词修饰时，其前不能再用介词on。 如：We have a basketball game this Sunday. 这周日我们举行篮球赛。
    Next Tuesday, we have an English test.  下周二，我们有一次英语测验。
     on 用于表示具体的某一天的名词前。 如：

     On May 1st 在五月一日

3、for sure adv. 无疑；肯定

You can’t say for sure that it won’t rain tomorrow.明天难保不下雨。

The fighting was over for sure. 战斗确实结束了。

Step 5 Check (课堂检测)

补全对话：

学生变身包装工人，打包食物送给饥饿儿童。

ALL the eighth-graders at a school in Illinois, US became food packers (包装工人)!

They took part in an activity, Feed (给……食物) My Starving (饥饿的) Children, at the end of August. They worked in groups and packed meals for poor children around the world. The meals included rice and potatoes.

 In just two hours, they packed many meals. The meals could feed 71 children for one year. The workers of the activity sent out (寄出) the meals.

 It was fun packing food, and the students also learned a lot.

“I learned that little things can help a lot of people,” Kurian Joy told The Doings Weekly.

 Julie Bartell, a teacher of the school, said the activity also helped the students get closer to each other.

 People see each other differently after they did something important together, she said.

教学建议与说明

知识链接：

一年有365天，12个月，52个星期。一个星期有7天。英语中这七天的名称大部分来自条顿族，是条顿族从罗马人那里借用过来的。

星期日表示罗马人尊崇太阳而把这一天定为太阳日，英语中太阳为sun，星期日便称Sunday，这是一周的第一天。星期一是罗马人的月亮日，英语中月亮为moon，星期一便为Monday。从星期二到星期五都是条顿族定名的，依次为Tuesday（战神）、Wednesday(众神之王)、Thursday（雷神）、Friday（爱神）、星期六Saturday则是罗马人为纪念Saturn(农神)而确立的名称。

按照国际习惯，星期日为一个星期的第一天，星期六为一个星期的最后一天。

表达星期时应注意以下几点：

第一个字母要大写，如：Sunday, Monday.

星期前面用on，如：on Monday, on Monday morning.

星期的缩写：Sun., Mon., Tues.(Tue.), Wed., Thur.(Thu., Thurs), Fri., Sat.
