Teaching procedure:
Step1. Warming-up (2mins)
- A song: Macdonald had a farm ( PPT before class)
Step2. Presentation (20mins)
Lead in:
1、 Read the titles .
2、Big big eye(快闪) 复习已学过的动物累的单词
3、T:There is a place, there are many animals .

Teaching Reflection
本节课通过孩子们喜欢的动物园为主线,让学生学会用重点句型认识并介绍动物的特征,学生能在创设的情境中来运用主要句型。课堂常规训练有素,课堂操练有梯度,点面结合。评价贴合主题。课堂中为了让学生掌握重难点知识设计的各种游戏,学生参与度高,在学习知识的同时了感受到英语学习的魅力。教师的Body language很丰富。从上课一开始就进行情境创设,播放动画情境然后输出主要句型,做到词不离句,在句子中教授单词,体现语言的整体性。这样孩子才会有更好的输出。
教学评价上综合运用口头赞赏、情表认可、分组评价等多元方法,有效激发和维持学生的良好学习状态;并在彰显“以学生为学习主体”这一理念的同时,特别注重对学生的学习表现给予及时反馈、适度强化和适时点拨,较好地发挥了教师的引领与示范作用。
整堂课中,学生的情绪一直处于非常愉悦开心的状态,无论是举手发言,还是小组讨论、上台展示,直到课堂结束环节的“sing an English song”,孩子们都表现得非常自然放松,此情此景令人感动。整堂课下来,鲜有机械操练、简单重复的场景,无论是单词的运用,还是句型的表达,孩子们都置身于师生共同创造语言环境,并在充分地接受和理解的基础上生动表达,可见“有意义学习”这一科学的学习方式在孩子们身上得到良好的实现。
在教师的指导下,孩子们自主投入到英语学习情境的创设中,并抛开母语、自由表达、开心互动、激情展示,充分体现了外语学习的思维规律与表达特性。一般而言,英语教师课堂上不说母语尚且不易,更何况接触英语才两年的小学五年级孩子们,真为孩子们的成长感到欣慰和高兴。
但也有不足之处:课堂结尾太匆忙,没有及时对本堂课进行总结与评价。
