Step 1 Organization  Greet the class and review by talking about yao ming’ look.Step 2  show the first picture in the ppt software .learn more ways to describe people’ s appearance. Step 3 Presentation1. Show the objectives.to the class.2. Preview and testing.show the ppt picture and practice the phrases, 3.Translate the sentences , 4. Point to the picture .show the different ways to describe people and learn to describe their familiar people.5. Learn to describe people by their face,haircut,height,build.clothes and decorations. 6. Ask what does he look like ? Practice with the different pictures . Note that we use is or are when we talk about height and build .but have or has when we talk about haircut.7.Practice describing different people’ looks.using the ppt pictures.Step 4. Look at the textbook,activity 1a . Section B. Match and check the answers,Step 5 . 1b .look at the picture and make sentences,then practice reading the new sentences.Step 6. 1.Look at the photo of johnny dean and the chart first.then listen and fill in the chart. 2. Check the answers.
