【教学目标】

1. Language knowledge：

能够听、说、读、写本课四会词: take, picnic, ball,认读单词: why, because, Saturday, Friday。

2. Language skills：围绕打算去野餐这一话题进行听说训练。

1）We are going to have a picnic on Saturday.

2) Will you take…?  Yes, I will. / No, I won’t.

3) I will take…

【教学过程】

Step1：Warming up   

Say some chants.

Step2：Lead-in + Drill

Look at the picture, please. What can you see? What season is it? What can you do in spring? Weekend is coming. On Saturday, we’re going to have a picnic.

Task 1: (magic hands game) We are going to have a picnic on Saturday.

Task 2: Listen, point and say

Step3：Come to the text

The Smart’s family is going to have a picnic on Saturday, too. What will Amy take? Let’s have a look.

Task 1: Listen and then answer the questions.

Task 2: listen and repeat. (Read the text after the tape).

Step4：Listen and say.

Step5：Practice.

Practice and act out the dialogue.

Step6：Expanding practice   

Group work---Make up some new dialogues

Discussion---Topics:

1）Going to Beihai Beach.

2）Going to Harbin in winter.
